Stallworth strained his hamstring pretty bad last night and it is up in the air whether or not he will play next week.

Its a ploy. He, Reggie Brown, Stallworth, Hood, and even Sheppard will play.
They want to play this game and they will (even if it doesn't change the outcome)

T-new straight up on him takes him out of th game...so don't care if he's there or not...we stop the deep ball and they will play dink and dunk game all night.

What we need is big time pressure!

Even if he does play, a hammy injury will hamper him because speed is his only asset.

PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 2, 2006) -- Three receivers left Monday night's Green Bay-Philadelphia game in the third quarter because of injuries.
Philadelphia's Reggie Brown and Donte' Stallworth left the game, as did Green Bay's Robert Ferguson.
Brown was taken to the locker room for X-rays after he hurt his shoulder on a 23-yard completion from Donovan McNabb. His catch set up a touchdown scramble by McNabb.
Brown was tackled out of bounds by Green Bay cornerback Ahmad Carroll and landed awkwardly on his right shoulder. He ran off the field hunched over with his arm dangling in front of him.
Stallworth, left the game with a hamstring injury and the said he would not return.

If the Eagles throw a crew of 2nd and 3rd string WR's out there, I could see us playing a very similar game plan as we did on Tenn. Contain McNabb and play very tight coverages to guard against the dink and dunks.

The only weapons the Eagles will have are McNabb, LJ Smith and possibly Westbrook (assuming he's playing). I'm not sure blitzing and opening up the potential for a big play makes as much sense as just taking away the few options the Eagles have.

D-line is going to have to step up and get pressure without much blitzing IMO.

Don't eat the cheese. Stallworth will be ready for this game. He torched us when he was with New Orleans, so I think this will be a tough matchup.

Newman played stallworth pretty good in august, the difference is philly sends him deep almost every play. I have faith in newman covering him, I am worried stallworth will make a big play deep on Henry when he gets one on one with him as henry always is left alone.

No one has beat henry in that spot this year but williamson in preseason, but someone will get him, and that is ok because he will make a play about 90 percent of the time which is good.

If I was Reggie Brown, I'd sit this one out. You don't want to be crossing the middle with a bum shoulder against #31.
Roy was lighting people up this past Sunday.

Appreciate the concern for Reggie, but somebody ought to talk to Glenn and TO about Dawkins.

I agree if they do NOT have Westbrook and Stallworth...if they have both, then we need to pressure him.

T-new on Stallworth and Roy hunting down Westbrook.

Exaclty! TNew covers Donte.

We need to play those screens and short dump passes better... and not let McNabb get any good runs on us...

I think it's important Roy plays in the box...or dang close to stop those screens. He's as good as they get when he's in pursuit by the LOS.

Roy on the RB and T-new...the keys to shutting them down.

Agreed.... but if the play develops too far away from Roy... we will need SURE tackling from the rest of our secondary...
