DAL: Cowboys Sign K; Work Out 9

The Dallas Cowboys have signed free-agent K Connor Hughes to a futures contract, the team announced Monday.
The team worked out several kickers back in December, and Hughes was one of them. The team signed K Shaun Suisham, instead. Suisham is currently scheduled to become a restricted free agent on March 5.
The other kicker they have on their 80-man roster is David Buehler, but he's seen by the team strictly as a kickoff specialist.
Dallas worked out nine players last week including one kicker, Sandro DeAngelis.
The other players that worked out were FB Jonathan Evans, WRs Marcus Maxwell, Titus Ryan, and Chad Jackson, OT Joel Bell, DT Keron Williams, LB Kelvin Smith, and CB David Pittman, according to a league source. Pittman also worked out for the Houston Texans last week.
