I may disagree a littlebit about cleaning house, but as far as our record goes, its not completely coming out of left field people.. WE havent proved a damn thing yet... So the prediction as far as the record goes isnt something pulled out of someones a**.

THis team has alot to prove.. they desreve all the doubters... Its what matters on the field.. Thats the ONLY way to shut people up, the only way... Not coulda, shoulda won this game and that game.. No one cares about that...

Adam Schein's "look at me" nonsense completely aside, I think your comments are right on, Theo... mass regular season injuries hopefully not having to be a consideration, whereby we'd have to wonder.

Injuries are a part of it, sure. Coaches have to figure out how to work around them. Mass injuries and just plain bad luck are beyond anybody's control, though... seemingly.

Take excessive injury issues out of the mix... it's on the coaches. I agree.

Didn't say "all." I don't believe the coaches (not just our head coach) have ALL they need, but I do believe we are a talented enough team to expect good coaches — which we have — to take us beyond a regular season mark of 7-9 this season.

That's what I was responding to and agree with.

We've got holes... weaknesses that still need to be improved before we can ever reasonably expect to return to perennial contender status. I full well see that; know that. You know from my previous posts that I'm with you on believing that our lines are extremely important, and we haven't addressed them as successfully as I would like to have seen yet.

So, no... to your specific comment... our HC doesn't have all he needs to win... not in cakewalk fashion by any means... but what we have should be enough to get to 8-8 (ugh) or better this year. I do believe that.

I listen to Sirius NFL Radio all the time. Schein likes to hear himself talk though no one else does. His voice alone annoys the crap out of me. The only thing worse is his lack of actual football knowledge. When the term "talking head" was coined, they had this guy in mind. Basically, he's an idiot.

Gosh....no one's voice on radio anywhere annoys me more than Schein. He is nauseating to say the least and the dial changes the moment he comes on the air.
