I really thought the giants would've signed him by now.

But that fact that Seattle picked lacy over him has me wondering what's up.

Interesting. Patriots are loading up for another serious SB run. Peterson could be an asset on a one yr deal for a club like New England.

I was thinking a few weeks ago that it wouldn't surprise me if the Pats signed AP and made the rest of the league look foolish. It would be Corey Dillon or Randy Moss all over again.

The Pats made a smart move when they got Dillon, but it did cost them a 2nd round pick. Using a 2nd round pick to get a player doesn't make other franchises look foolish. They just invested more than other teams could. They also traded for Randy Moss. Peterson won't cost any picks. Different situations. So far there is no deal. He left with no contract. He probably has unrealistic expectations on salary and how he will be used.

People are really making too much of what AP does or doesn't do at this point. He's old and probably busted.

Green Bay should have signed him. They would be unstoppable with the right RB.
