The Patriots are a very good team, but they sorely lack any kind of deep ball, big play receiver. They have a bunch of guys who can get 10 yards after the catch, but no one who's going to catch a 75 yard bomb (Randy Moss) which is exactly what they need.

What killed them is losing Gronkowski. They don't have a single player a defense has to game plan for. They just have a bunch of guys. It's something else for them to get this far.

9 minutes is a long time. NE has a shot if they can get it back quickly, but they haven't shown they can stop Manning. They've forced only one punt.

d.thomas is balling right now, do you guys think hes better than dez ?

It's close but I think no. Demarius gets the benefit of playing with Welker, Decker, and Thomas. He rarely sees the double teams Dez sees.

He's also used in a much more creative offense, whereas Dez will go games where he is targeted only once.
