Well, no one is afraid of garbage QBs.
Every team in the NFC that has a good QB doesn't have a good defense. Seattle is inconsistent on offense and we can wear them down in our running game.
I see a lot of fear in the various game threads about facing decent QBs in the playoffs. There seems to be a lot of concern out there about facing a Rodgers, Ryan, Stafford, Cousins again or even Brees. Some of these teams are hovering around .500, but because they have good QBs, we are supposed to be afraid of them carving up our defense. How much of a threat do these kind of teams really pose?
They better start fearing our defense. That's right I'm in full homer mode.
Correctamundo.Even an average QB can have a pretty good day if you give them time to throw. Our 12-4 2014 team lost to Colt McCoy and Mark Sanchez.
I would fear any offense this team faces in the playoffs. I just don't have the swagger most fans have with this team. They barely beat the Vikings. Barely beat the Commanders twice. Same with the Eagles. Had to come back down 14 to the lowly 49ers. You give them credit for winning those games but it doesn't make me think they just roll through anybody in front of them.
If they come out flat against the Giants next week that would be 3 straight games where they've been out played. The narrative needs to change if that's the case rather than just staring at the record. A 13-3 1 seed Cowboys team was flawed and bounced out of the playoffs quickly in 2007. That could very easily happen to this team.
