FRISCO, Texas - Through the first two games of the season the quarterback position didn’t look quite as natural for Dak Prescott as it had for much of his rookie season. He had thrown just two touchdowns and two interceptions, and he was barely averaging five yards per pass attempt.

In Monday night’s 28-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Prescott looked sharp and the offense got stronger as the game went on.

“I think I played a fairly clean game,” Prescott said. “Much better than the first two weeks. It was slow starting off early for me and the offense, but we got it going.”

Let's hope so!

If the defense plays sharp and the Oline can get it going things will get better. The one thing I hope he gets worked out is not bailing when he has time. He's missed some big plays. I'm sure he will get better at this over the course the season and into next season.

Gootta get Beasley more touches and Swit involved with the wr sets. If we start using Beasley alongside Swit, no way Rams can cover eveyrone much less having to account for Zeke/Dak running.

“We played three pretty good defenses in these first three games,” Prescott said. “I don’t think there are many teams in this league that can challenge us and do what these three teams have done of making us beat them over the top.”
Beating the Cardinals was a boost to the confidence. The offense starting firing on all cylinders again thanks to Prescott throwing the ball down the field and making plays. Still not in playoff form but there are fewer questions then there were after the Denver game.

More than a few QBs got off to a slow start this year and the CBA restrictions on practice surely didn't help them in that regard. On top of that, most of them didn't get enough reps in preseason to get their mojo going appreciably. Sure, Dak got off to a slow start, not unlike many others. I'm still highly optimistic that he'll continue to rebound from that and distinguish himself admirably from now on. He'll do just fine; he's too good not to.

For a 2nd year guy Dak is doing great and will just keep getting better during the season.

And don't force it to Dez if it's not there

The guy barely played in the pre-season. It does take time to get in form.

That's for sure. Too many players have sketchy games early-on nowadays.

The NFLPA screwed up bigtime in their last CBA contract with the owners.

The players surely got their way in lax practices but really hurt themselves.
