After 13 weeks the NFC east should put 3 teams in playoffs

Been awhile since Cowboys fans could ponder so positively about the playoffs. Last year was such a killjoy in December and November.

The eye test for me says the Cowboys(1st seed), Giants(5th), and Commanders(6th) should all make the playoffs. If that holds true, we will have played our opponent in our first game probably twice and at least once if we are #1 seed. IMO the Lions win the North and the Falcons take the South. The earliest we could play the Falcons would be the NFC championship game. The Lions and NFC east teams would play us if they win 1st round because of seeding.
I do give Tampa Bay a nod but I feel the Commanders are a better team at this point in time in early Dec. The NFC east seasoned us for this run and the Boys have put themselves in position for a bright outcome no matter the opponent.
Three out of our next four games are playoff challengers the Cowboys could play in about 6 weeks, after the first round series for the quest of the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Is this the scenario you see?

Your scenario makes a lot of assumption, when in actuality, most of the seeds up in the air still. The only team we are guaranteed to not play, would be the #3 seed, and it easily could not be the Falcons. And I'm not 100% sure Washington makes the playoffs, Tampa has been hot and I don't see Washington winning out.

If Dallas beats the Giants we could see Wash and the GIants knocked out, They still have to play each other and Philly.

Washington will end up with 6 losses at least. Beat the GIants and they will too. 1 of them may end up with 7

I should've qualified the piece by saying in the beginning of Dec. My bad
I think after 13 weeks we can assume some things.

I am more sure about the Falcons than some of the other assumptions. Of course this is why I never bet on NFL games.

For me the greatness of other NFC east teams making the playoffs is their status in the draft line, this keeps their talent selection level similar to what we will have in choices. Icing on the cake so to say. I am not looking for a easy path to the Lombardi just play whoever is scheduled and take names. If it is an NFC east team than let it be. Good to be in the playoffs this early.

Commanders are the best team that loses all their close games.

There are still scenarios where the NFC East gets three in. Washington obviously needs help to get in

Sorry but no. I want only one NFC East team in the playoffs and that's the Cowboys.

The skins loss yesterday was big because it open the door wider for teams like Tampa, Green Bay, and Minnesota (even though the skins beat those two teams).

washington is in a tough spot now. The giants also have the losses to GB and Minnesota which could be huge if they struggle.

I am curious about why you are so sure on the Falcons? I would agree they are likely to make the playoffs if I had to choose, but not so sure about them being the #2 or #3 seed. They are currently the 4th seed (a game behind Detroit for #3), and the only thing keeping them from the 5th or 6th is a tie breaker that could easily change.

I have watched the south games and IMO they are the toast of the south. Maybe Tampa can make a run but they are going to struggle beating us.

But what about the NFC North?
I think Detroit has been the best after watching them all play, we will have a good game against these guys in week 15. Do you see GB or the Vikes making a run?

I personally think that Vikings are done. I think GB will make the run.
