After 2 days to try and cope, I still ask myself...

What the f? Those two TDs against the defense against the Ravens...That concocted option by Romo to Witten, that led to the concocted pass by Witten to TO... the Cowboys moving the ball in ghetto street-ball style, only to give up 2 TDs from turnovers, when they had 2 easy TDs in the making... Marion Barber fumbling on some weak arm tackle by a defender, which pretty much never happens...McNabb throwing passes over the shoulder of Newman, a pass like he hasn't thrown all year, right into the arms of a rookie WR, who just the prior week, dropped like 4 passes right in his arms... Newman pass interference on some stupid throw by McNabb. Seriously.. the whole thing was like a cosmic plan to thwart any attempts of having the Cowboys coming back to even make the play-offs... did somebody make a deal with the devil on this team?

something definitely happened. not sure what, but something did.

those two long runs against the ravens were freaky. then to not only see 1 but 2 defensive touchdowns by the eagles was also freaky.

hopefully its not a curse put on Jerry Jones because of the type of players he has on his team.

I really believe the players just quit on the Coaching staff, the fans and the Cowboys organization.

Also, I believe some of the strife that was reported in the lockerroom was true.

Of course, I really don't think it helped that Jerry Jones was so emphatic about Wade Phillips keeping his job before the game had even started. This sent a message that no matter what happens, Wade Phillips still had a job.

This team was built for John Madden Football, not the real NFL.

Interestingly, as several people have pointed out, we have had a 9-7 record something like 3 of the past 4 seasons.

Maybe that's what type of team we really are . . . .

To get this team to the next level, we need to

1. get back to fundamentals (wrapping up when tackling, taking proper angles, running proper routes, etc)

2. become more disciplined - too many turnovers and too many penalties

3. get a little lucky with fewer injuries, and

4. play with more urgency and passion for a full game.

Oh, and significantly upgrade STs.

I think the players were so beaten down they just didn't care. Internal strife between them, the injuries they've sustained, lack of confidence in the coaches, you name it.

It all boiled down to a "don't give a damn" attitude.

THere is no way, had they cared about the outcome on sunday, we would have lost like that.

Not to mention pac man's fumble before the half. It was surreal to watch an entire season end in a few moments like that. And this just a week after those 2 runs. Un******believable...

Why would the team just quit on Madden on those last two plays against the Ravens, after playing all game long? Doesn't make sense...Why was the team still trying to move the ball downfield, getting into the red-zone in rapid style, pretty much free-lancing, only to turn the ball over on some weak crap if they quit?My point is, things were happening which were just plain abnormal...BTW, Romo seems to have callen out Garrett, not Wade...

Yhea, only this time around I won't put the bar so high for success.

No more playoff or Super Bowl talk this off-season.

I really want to see Wade's "plan". I'm curious what he's going to come up with.
