and it's never tasted so GOOD. I was dead wrong and freely admit it. Never been so glad to be wrong in my life. He looks very much like the real deal and I don't see it changing any time soon with Zeke rumbling up and down the field. Our Oline was ENERGIZED blocking for Zeke and Dak today. Just obliterated that Cinci front 7. I love Romo btw, but this is business. Dak should be the QB the rest of the way IMHO.

No disrespect, but the Holy Grail of crow eating will be when Risen Star eats that big ole Crowpie.

I said it last week. Dak is a better fit for this team right now than Romo. His is a threat to run from the pocket, not just to buy time. Makes the defense have to commit a spy. Also, in the red zone, the threat of the zone read (like the TD today) keeps the opponent's DL honest and opens up running lanes. This translates to easier first downs on 3rd down and more touchdowns. Dak starts rest of the year, if I'm the coach.

That zone read was a beautiful beautiful thing.

I've been seeing a lot of crow eating on Dak.......I don't get how or why you guys are? What did you think Dak would be? Did you think he wouldn't at least be a solid backup?

I was on the "start Romo once he's healthy" bandwagon, and now I'm on the fence. I was always a big Prescott fan, I was just worried teams would start to take away what he does best after getting a lot of film on him.

Now that's clearly a case of me overthinking the situation. Prescott is the future here. I'll decide for sure after the Packers game if I think the future should be now.

I still believe this team needs Romo. Somewhere down the line, we are going to run into a team who jumps out to a lead and is going to stop our running game. Dak has done a great job...but the offense is limited with him. Romo will be able to do what Dak does AND open up a whole new aspect of the offense.

You have to realize how well the defense is playing and the running game is working. Dak is making good throws and managing the game.

Ummm...have you seen the guys we've been rolling out at QB in the pre-Romo and Romo era? McGee, Henson, Hutchinson, Cassel, Weeden, Johnson, Moore...The only ones that were halfway decent were Kitna and Orton. Some of those guys sucked really badly. So...right...I was not confident in the Dak pick and am pleasantly surprised.

I think we will find out in the next two weeks. When Cincy tried to come at us with 7 defenders in the box, we stomped them hard. It looked like they had more 8 men in the box after Elliot ripped off the 60 yarder. This is where Romo is at his best. Defense is going to put 8 in the box? We'll burn you deep. We haven't quite seen that yet from Dak, but I love, love, love how Dak takes care of the ball. This is something Romo would do well to learn. Stop trying to do quite so much and eat the ball sometimes.
