After 4 games, I'm ready to eat crow about Dak

Like Cincinnati? Their front seven is very solid. They hadn't given up a single TD until yesterday. Sometimes we need to stop waiting for THAT game to say "ahhh ok.. THAT'S the game I was looking for".. it's a little frustrating.. I get a wait and see approach but why not support and applaud not just Dak but the entire team at this point? Every team faces obstacles and challenges. I just don't get your angle.

Make that No rushing TD's and no 100 yard rusher before Sunday. The bottom line is Zeke could not be as successful if Dak couldn't demonstrate the ability to read the defense and beat them off play action and down the field in general. He's still getting chunk plays. His play action passing in beautiful. He's a threat on the boot which directly effects the running game. The coaches are putting him in the gun and empty sets. It's damn near the same offense. Dak is simply less of a risk taker and still LEARNING.

I like Dak, but there's a long road ahead before I say he's the next franchise QB. I'll wait till the job is his full time. And he has more than 4 games under his belt. Many stumble their sophomore season.

Of course he could stumble in his 2nd season.

Put less talent around him and he would to some extend.

But as I see it his two greatest attributes are football intelligence and poise.

Do you think he's going to recede in either area?

Where Dak excels, and where Romo 'can', is in the red zone. The threat of a running QB is huge down there and it's showed. Never thought in a million years that I'd be this confused going into the 6th game of the season @ 4-1. I can't get passed all that Romo gave to this team, and when healthy, how good he is. People say that this is a good problem to have but it sucks! lol

What impresses me more than anything is how smart Dak plays. It's amazing how advanced he is in his mental development. It seems like hardly anything fools him at all.

I LOVE how he's not scared to just throw a ball at a WR or RB's feet in a situation where trying to complete the pass would be risking an interception.

and it's never tasted so GOOD. I was dead wrong and freely admit it. Never been so glad to be wrong in my life. He looks very much like the real deal and I don't see it changing any time soon with Zeke rumbling up and down the field. Our Oline was ENERGIZED blocking for Zeke and Dak today. Just obliterated that Cinci front 7. I love Romo btw, but this is business. Dak should be the QB the rest of the way IMHO.

You can be happy about Dak and not have to eat crow.

It's 5 games. No anointing oil.

For those of us who dont watch college football it is easier not to have preconceived notions about rookies. Otherwise there is no basis to judge weather he will be a bust or not.

The fact that Garrett was impressed with Dak while coaching him in that particular college all star game seemed to have been useful

I would spit out that chunk an throw in your face

Wentz is the better QB

I'd still take Wentz all day long over DAK

what kind of O live does he had up there

PFF ranked #10 and with a better defense

get your head out of the sand
