The fumbles didn't help. But people blame the defense and they got us the ball back after one of the fumbles and had a key sack to prevent the Skins from kicking a field goal and gave us the ball back before OT. This game should have been a blow out in the 1st half when the defense was playing lights out. He left a lot of plays on the field.

Your defense was not playing lights out in the first half. If McCoy was a better QB he would've had two TDs in the first half. He missed the first one wide open in the endzone to Roberts, he threw it out of bounds and Roberts was wide open. The second was the severely underthrown pass to Desean, in which he had 4-5 yards on the defender.

Romo definitely didn't play his best game. He did not make Washington pay when they blitzed. Romo will have to prove that he can do that going forward because that is the new recipe for success. With that being said, I think the fumbles are what cost us the game. Randle and Murray need to hold onto the ball. The game never gets to overtime without those fumbles. Romo didn't call his protections well and didn't get the ball out of his hands fast enough. Still, he also didn't throw an INT (there is something to be said for that).
