I watched that game today on NFL Network, and you would have to be blind not to see how slow and lame the players took to this game. It looked like a bunch of actors who forgot their lines and were reading off cue cards. Just going through the motions.

Should they of played that way? Did the coaches intend for them to play that way? No, but it is a preseason game.

Although we should be a little concerned about Ellis and Newman being injured, coaches say they should be ok by regular season. Lets not forget about Glenn coming back as well.

Preseason is a time when games are not planned out, and if they are - it is with alot of experimentation, changeups, substitutions, alterations to find what works against what.

I really do think that the media and the fans gave them all big heads, and they came in like "ho hum". In a regular season, if that happens they would need the heads nailed to the wall, but this is preseason and what better time to show them what getting their heads too big and getting lazy will become than in preseason.

This will be locker room material come tomorrow at practice.

Remember, if you do not like Vanilla, then preseason is not for you!

I think it stems to what the QB said, Tony Romo, he said it was just another game, no big deal, the governors cup and all. Romo also stated that he needed to be paid more than Schaub, yet his play compared to Schaub was well below par, certainly wasnt worth more money than what Schaub got.

Now I did see some good things out of the game, to me, Hurd, T O, Barber, Witten, Fergueson, Burnett, Bradie James, and Folk all played good and with heart. The other players did not.

I understand your point and I kind of said that. There are no excuses, but things are the way that they are. Its kind of like having to start work at a certain time every day, and you must be their at that time or you are late. But at the same time, it is an unwritten rule that you should be there early to work, and not just "on time" if you want to advance because it shows ambition. Well, you would try to, but at times you run late and your mind is focused on the start time that matters. You get there and you really don't put a full effort in until you are truly "on the clock".

I am sure I could of come up with a better example, but you probably know where I am going with this?
