Again, terrible way to judge a game. "Away" and "home" is this really how you're determining it?

You do that, I'll be over here looking at how mismatched we are and how it showed in the two games we lost against them.

How mismatched we are? LOL

Did you even watch the 1st two games? We lost by a combined 4 points buddy. You guys are making it sound like they dominated us.

I'm done wasting my time trying to reason with you. You're either blind or trolling.

You could be right. You could be wrong. Lets see if the Giants can beat the Packers on the road. HUGE difference between the Commanders QB and the Packer's QB. Eli will have to score some points and regardless of what media folks say he has played well below average for the last few years. If pressured he will make some stupid throws.
Yeah...Cousins crapped the bed on 1st and 10 with 97 seconds still to play. He should have ran for what he could (not much) and lived to play three more downs. You make that ill-advised throw on 4th and 10...but not on a first down.

The defense alone won't save NY against GB, and especially not at home, where noise, cold and wind will wreak havoc on a tentative quarterback and a suspect offense. NY will need probably 21 points if they are to have a chance of beating Rodgers at home. Watching him vs. the Lions showed that he has full mobility back and is a threat to take off when things break down. Dangerous dude right now...and it looks likely that he will be coming to Dallas on January 15th.

That said...GB has real problems in the secondary with injuries, and it could be a challenge for them to hide parts that don't fit so well. Manning might be off this year but he's still a savvy veteran who has had some really good luck in the playoffs.

The Giants have a good defense which can neutralize our offense. GB with Rodgers can be explosive. It's pick your poison.

I think we can beat either but neither would be easy.

Us Pack is closer than earlier this year, but we get the W to avenge our prior playoff loss. Us Giants is the ultra revenge game as they beat us twice and also in the playoffs when we were in a similar position years ago.

This time Eli's rabbit foot runs out of luck, and our WR's don't stop on routes. Also this O line will grind the Giants D so the 4th quarter won't provide an opportunity for Odell or Eli to pull off one lucky grab/catch run .

More to me than any other QB I can think of ..... Helmet grab still stands out as on the luckiest in SB memory

I was going to post the following yesterday watching the Giants-Red Skin game, but decided to wait until this morning. The Cowboys will lose against a great defense and the Giants have one. If we stick with what we had in the two loses to the Giants the outcome will be the same. So, the Cowboys will have to do something different with what they have or . . . . go . . . . . with . . . . Romo! He can win the game with the Giants or Atlanta. This should be in the game plan for these playoff games!

“the Giants! Yes, I saw a great defense choke the life out of the Commanders. I hate to say it but Eli wins his third Super Bowl ring. Each time the Giants have won a Super Bowl they had the best DL in the NFL. This time they have a better defense. I would give the Cowboys runner up to the NFC but we would have to have a better defense than the Giants to win.”

Everybody remembers the magical, mythical 2014 Superhuman Romo fondly but conveniently forgot the beginning of Romo Wednesdays at Cowboys practice...10/28/2014 Week 8

McCoy, Washington halt streaking Cowboys...
Colt McCoy directed Washington to Kai Forbath's 40-yard field goal in OT and Dallas was unable to answer after Tony Romo returned from an apparent injury, sending the Commanders to a 20-17 victory Monday that snapped the Cowboys' six-game winning streak.

The guy just can't stay healthy for any extended period even the GREAT 2014...

I give GB a slight edge over NY since they are at home and because of Rodgers. But it should be interesting since it's strength against strength, Pack O vs Giants D. On the flip side the Giants have been lethargic on O but the Pack D is kind of soft.

If we get GB I envision a shootout. I'll be hard to stop Rodgers but I think we put up some points again on their D. With the Giants it'd be the opposite. We can beat both but GB/NY have more playoff experience, at least with their QB's. But you never know, we could end up with Detroit.

There's a real chance that Giants are one and done for the 4th time in the Eli era.
They do look really strong on D, but the Packers now are 2-3 TDs better than they were early in the year. They're rolling.
That game can go either way.

yeah, he did have a couple of bad games in 2014 out of 17 played. That was one of them for sure. Great find...took some focused digging:D

Many people on this forum cannot simply stand that some of us do not always feel so optimistic.
I also sense that we will get defeated in our 1st playoff match

Because your response to 4-12 is this "Who else has finally lost all hope for good?"

And your response to 13-3 is this "I also sense that we will get defeated in our 1st playoff match"

Can you blame me for being skeptical after 20 years of sour seasons and almost none playoff wins?

LOL.. no, not from there...
Still the Cowboys have become a mediocre team. If 20 years of failure doesnt tell you that.. well...
It will take several consistent winning seaons for me -and some others- to start beleving again

No sense in watching the rest of the playoffs. When do the Cavs play again?

I'd rather face a great defense/average offense than the opposite.

Depends on how our Dline is going to play.

If Irving is going to show up like he has I think I will take Green bay. If not I would rather face NYG.

I don't think GB can stop us at all.....Can we limit Rodgers??????

They did "dominate us" - Them not scoring a lot on offense DOES NOT take away that they completely dismantled our "great offense", made Dak look like poo poo, Elliott was also ineffective despite his stats, receivers couldn't do a thing.

Them playing mediocre on offense is typical Giants. They don't have a great offense, they have an okay offense. In our two games against them, we had a total of 26 points scored, 19 of them in one game.

Yes they "Dominated" us and physically beat us down. Good defense generally beats a good offense.

Haven't become one this year. I don't expect us to win the SB, just fun enough to be in the playoffs.
