Thanks. For some reason I was having trouble copying the image to photobucket.

I like the defensive trend going from 30 to 19 in Aikman's system. Even just going from 29 to 21 by the NFL standards of yards allowed. Interesting that New England's defense is ranked 18th by Aikman while be 1st by the NFL.

While I'm not surprised by how close our 2 offenses are ranked, I am surprised that their defense very close to ours as well. I know they missing at least 1 starter, but we missing 2 1/2 starters. Maybe their defense isn't all powerful and like us their big weapon is their offense.

Why because they are 3-0 and have beat the Browns, Bills, and 49ers who have a combined record of 3-6?

I think not.

No worries. I had to download the word doc from the site and copy the text from there.

Thanks for posting those... I'd totally forgotten about them this year.

And on Aikman's rating us high -- IIRC, these are formulas that he's come up with, not personal opinion.

Dallas opponents have a combined 2-7 record. The next two opponents have a combined 0-6 record. It really is too early to use opponents records in the equation. Pittsburgh looks good. Dallas looks good. I even think Dallas can get better.

Nah.

The Patriots are the top team right now. We are tops in the NFC.

The Steelers have looked good out of the chute, but their offense has problems. They are really week in the offensive passing game.

To be a top team, you have to be strong in all areas.

Pitt definitely looks like a playoff team, but I think NE and Indy beats them in the AFC.

They're missing both Seymour and Harrison.
