They speculated that since Aikman talks to both JJ and Jason that maybe he knew something

I am all for this is as long as he brings swervin curvin richards as his rb coach
..

Seriously there are former 3rd stringers all over this league as coaches, not head coaches yet but coordinators and qb coaches...

Great players generally aren't the best coaches. Probably stems from the fact that they can't believe other players can't just do things. Hard to explain something that just comes easily and natuarally to you.

The backup guys had to make it in the league, or college, etc., on more than talent, they have to be smart.

that would seem to say that Jason might be a good coach.

I wouldn't listen to hard to Troy Aikman's opinion.

He still believes Norv Turner would be an outstanding head coach also.

this just has a ring of truth to it, for some reason, and if true it would be a typical Jerry Jones move. thumbing his nose at the bigger names and going with a guy who bled blue for many years, and (if it worked out) Jerry could take all the credit for finding his very own Sean Payton. if it failed, it would be a cheap buyout then bring in Cowher or whoever. hhmmm......

Aikman will have a hard time not blushing and gushing over Garrett if he's hired. I say why not.

Jerry's prolly pissed he let Payton get away.

Of course we would be up in arms if Payton was our HC because he hadn't achieved any success with New Orleans like he did this year. Hindsight's a ***** aint it?
