I hope this kid from Oregon gets a chance to compete for the RT spot next offseason. He needs to make a big jump from year 1 to year 2 if he wants a shot at being Steele's replacement following his release.

I didn't see Thomas out there even in victory formation. Not sure if he got any snaps.

It does seem like the talk was just that regarding an open competition for Steele's spot. Maybe it was to be a motivational statement.
