Well they certainly have the opportunity to make him a HC or at the very least promote him to DC after this year.

He admitted he wasn't ready for that because he hasn't been involved in the X's & O's. Although he is suppose to be this season with Zimmer, got a promotion as assistant head coach.

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure where the Harris hype is coming from.

Before Bland got all those picks last season he was just an average secondary coach. Harris has been coaching for over 12 years but I didn't hear calls for him to be a HC till after Blands season last year.

Just remember that this board was terrified that Kellen Moore was going to be poached for a HC position years ago......recency bias can overrate folks

He's maximized his group the time that he's been here, not just last year. He was also the one in the trenches building connections with guys in war time, while Dan Quinn was hiding in the booth all game. Connector, leader, highly intelligent, its easy to see where the 'hype' comes from.

i don't know about when calls for Harris being a HC started, but I do remember people getting excited for Harris the past 2-3 years as our secondary went from one of the worst units on the team to one of the best.

You don't work for the organization to have this input, you merely have the same input as rowdy and his cousins!
 
He will be the Rooney rule interview before BB is announced as next head coach
