JORDAN ROSS – DeMarco Murray arguably had the best season for a Cowboys running back since you played. Do you feel like he is the long-term answer at the RB position for the Cowboys?
EMMITT SMITH – I’m not sure if he is or not.
JORDAN ROSS – Is that because of his health?
EMMITT SMITH – Yeah, it’s because of his health. You’ve always got to prepare for a number of situations. DeMarco Murray is their #1, but you’ve also got to have a #2 and even a #3 back. You shouldn’t have to change your whole scheme just because you’re worried about a guy going down. You prepare a clear vision for the team, and they buy into the vision. That means the #1 guy, the #2 guy and the #3 guy are prepared for that vision, so when the time comes they have an expectation that they want to meet.
