All Aboard the Romo Express

yall are a stubborn bunch.

I think we should let Romo play out his contract, but it would be a mistake to give him another.

We need to draft early and now.

With Romo, we just keeping spinning, spinning, spinning, and no winning.

I was thinking his contract was up. Whoops! I'm a year off. Thought when we stopped talks earlier this season it was going to be addressed this summer. I'd still be I'm favor of extending him. If we don't this summer, I'm happy he's still a Cowboy.

I'm in, on, and ready to depart! I've always been a Romo fan and seen him do some great things hurt, beaten down, and under pressure. Yeah some times his throws go to the wrong team but I'm still a fan. Get him a better o line help and a running game and we got this.:D:star:

I agree Romo was a big reason for the loss tonight (last night). But Romo doesn't play defense. Romo didn't give up 250+ rushing yards to the Skins.

It's a team game. Again, Romo was definitely the biggest reason for the loss, but he wasn't the ONLY reason.

I love romo, support romo, and think hes an elite QB that can get us to the superbowl. Dont you DARE try to pen this loss on the makeshift defense, that has played admirably with its myriad of injuries and street players STARTING for our team. They overcame TWO interceptions and STILL held them to 21 points and gave the pffense the ball back with time to make a play. Ill be darned if we make this about the defense.

I don't support losers. I'm not here for moral victories, I want winners and Romo is NOT that. I will never accept losing, or a losing quarterback. I grew up with Staubach, even Danny White, and Aikman. They taught me to be a proud Cowboys fan, and to accept nothing but winning. It's funny because last year when Payton was released, I was begging Jones to pick him up, and fans blasted me.

And they have the nerve to call me an idiot. Pulease, An idiot thinks with his heart and not his brain. Had we sold out for Payton, and traded Romo to some desperate dumb team who's dumb enough to give up a first, we could be AMAZING right now.

Green Bay has one of the worst offensive lines in history. Where are they? Excuse after Excuse after Excuse after Excuse after Excuse, and you have rookies just flying right past Romo.

Shameful day in Cowboys history.

Pretty much spot on, except Rob Ryan needs to go too along with JJ the GM.

I don't believe Peyton was even obtainable for this team. I can't see how he would fit under the cap for us or why he would choose to play here over Denver. Denver won a playoff game with Tim Tebow, and is in a joke of a division.

You think our division is good this year? :banghead:

Now, I'm not going to ramble on about how good of a player Romo is. We all know exactly what Tony is capable of and I still believe he is the guy we want at quarterback. It may take some time for many people to come to grips once again that they like tony Romo, but we have a long offseason.

#1 priority should be to resign Tony Romo this offseason.

#2 priority should be to get Tony some help on the line.

I can't wait to see Romo fulfill his potential, all this failure is going to make it great. I still believe Tony!

Train accepting all passengers.

Romo is largely responsible for getting us into position to win the East; unfortunately he’s also had the biggest hand in our not winning it.
We don’t have a viable alternative on the team at the moment so we have to role with him.
However we must start a serious search for a viable replacement beginning with the next draft/off season.

As long as Tony Romo remains our QB we will not win a Championship. We will be having the same conversation next year and making excuses again how Romo will get them next year.Cowboy fans deserve a lot better than this.:banghead:

In not saying you’re wrong but where were our defense’s turnovers?
And let’s not use the injury excuse.
This defense wasn’t generating turnovers before the injuries started.
This happens in the last game just about every year.
We’re always on the wrong side of the turnover differential.

This defense was getting owned back in week 2, dont act like we were the 85 Bears until half our starters got hurt.

Rob Ryan can be shown the door along with Opie and his Madden play chart for all I care.

We also deserve to have a HC/OC that knows what a blitz is and can actually make an adjustment to it at some point in the game.

If Coach Tecmo is back in 2013, it will not matter who the QB is.......NO PLAYOFFS.

I would LOVE to see Romo play under a new OC. I too believe he has potential to be an elite QB in this league, but he first has to get out from underneath a terrible, and predictable OC.
JG may be ok as HC ,but The Cowboys need a new direction offensively.

Count me in. People forget so quickly that we would not have even sniffed the playoffs without Romo. He bailed out Garrett and his pathetic play calling so many times in the hurry up offense this year. Get a real OC who knows how to call plays and Romo will shine brighter than he ever has. The sad thing is he is getting older and Jerry has wasted his prime on pathetic coaching from Wade and Garrett's on the job training.

If you don't want to get to your destination, if you enjoy an uncomfortable ride, if you don't mind being derailed several times a season, by all means jump on board. Chooooooo. Choooooooo. Craaaaaaaaash.

He's the best option we have right now, but we need to get serious about drafting a good QB early soon.
