I'm never much of a team meeting kinda guy, but that was probably the main theme: "F" ESPN. We're playing pretty good ball, let's band together, watch each other's backs and WIN. At least I hope it was that simple. Much more than that is just window dressing. I haven't turned on ESPN in months. I get most of my sports info. from the internet. If more fans and Cowboys players did the same they'd have a much more peaceful existence IMO. :starspin

I agree that ESPN is insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but people do watch and they do believe the garbage being spewed by the network. As unprofessional and shoddy as ESPN reporters are, they have power, enormous power, to shape the views and perceptions of the masses. That's why Cowboys fans fret over what's taking place right now. The players should ignore it, right? But how in the hell can they?

I really could care less about BSPN. The only reason I even know about the so called reporting they do is from what I read in forums. They are just too much of a waste of time for me to watch. For me, BSPN is about the only thing that is worth less than the second to last swirl of a flushing toilet.

If I do not like something, I won't waste my time watching it.

I'll second all of that.
They had some value, like 20 years ago, before they became a combination of American Idol and the National Enquirer of sports "journalism".
Too many loudmouth fools like Stewart Scott and Chris Vermin for my taste.

I'm always of the mind that if the media(i'll put the fan base in the same catagory) can cause the downfall of a sports team it wasn't a champion to begin with.

I understand your argument and agree to a certain extent, but have you EVER seen anything like THIS?

This is a new era with the media in the last 6-8-10 years now that almost everyone in the country has cable-sat tv/internet access, and that is the gorilla in the room that wasn't there in the early 90's. So i know what you are saying. These teams need to adjust and maybe this "next question" thing will catch on and be a mantra for not only the Boys but other teams when these fools try and fabricate hyped strories?

Ha ha. If by some miracle the Cowboys end up winning Super Bowl XLIII, NFL Films should name their season video "Next Question." That way Werder would be embarrassed in perpetuity.
