You're dreaming, hoss... the Boys don't have enough cap room left to get half of that done... not and get a new deal done for DeMarcus Ware...

I'd rather they go out and sign some quality depth for the OL anyway... Elton Brown would look good in a Cowboys uniform, IMO...

However, I would not be upset at all if the Boys signed Torry Holt...

there already is a hole in the defence with spears there. And their is a couple of corners who we passed on..

but our secondary looks very bad...... If newman goes down.... What do we have???

I'd don't want anything else except maybe Torry Holt. I'm perfectly fine with the roster as is plus the 11 draft picks. I hope they trade up a few times and end up with 8-9 picks and use them to fill out the needed depth.

cowboys5, the only negative about signing another player in free agency is this;

if we sign one and dont lose another player in free agency, we dont get a high compensation pick for chris canty,

and we still need to resign carlos polk now, for special teams

Why does everyone hate marcus spears so much? He is a 3-4 run stopping DE. From what i've seen he does a decent job at stopping the run. He may not have lived up to a 1st round pick but he isnt horrible. Do people just hate him because he doesnt get sacks? From what i remember we have been pretty good at stopping the run the past few years (save baltimore). Someone please explain why everybody hates him.

On another point, i would much rather take a chance on youth for the other positions than bring another aging vet in here. Young guys are normally a lot better on ST than old guys and where do you think backup LB's and CB's are going to get he majority of their plays?

Its just my opinion, feel free to yell at me now....

Really like this thinking. Torry Holt and use our draft, hopefully improve some 6th and 7ths picks to get some solid players in rounds 4-5. Maybe move from a 3rd rounder to get a good player that fell in the 2nd.

Washed up? Had almost 800 yards with all that mess down in St Louis. 1 year removed from a pro bowl. At this point he's probably more #1 WR ready than RW.
