All the Henry-haters, admit it here

Thought it only fair for those who reamed Henry last week and previous to step up and give their thoughts after today's game.

He is a very good CB and I'm tired of seeing him undeservingly catch heat for not being absolutely perferct.

When Newman returns, we should be looking even deadlier.

P.S.-
Reeves is the bum. I never got a chance to post it last week but I could NOT BELIEVE they gave him a game ball after the NYG game nor could I believe the praise this board gave him.

Henry gives up some catches, and he makes the other team pay sometimes. He's been that way since he got here.

True.
All CBs do.
But his ballhawking and pass defense is above average IMO.

Apparently no one wants come forward.

I like him because he plays physical. All CBs and Safeties get beat now and then. The over reaction of this by some here is both hilarious and annoying.

No they don't. Some guys don't give up much but don't make a lot of big plays. Some guys give up a lot and still don't make big plays. Henry gets picked on sometimes and gives up more than you'd like sometimes, but he also has a knack for PDs and INTs.

exactly....henry is above average also in my eyes...just because hes not a Newman, people bash him...to be Honest....if Henry had Elite speed or was a bit faster...i think he'd be the Best Corner in the League

yes i said it, he plays with a great style...always trying get a hand in there, always attacking the ball....great height, hands, awareness, ups, just a little more Speed and i doubt wed even have him right now..

he would be just about the best

As long as they put a Safety over the top when he's going up against a burner WR, i'm fine with Henry. My issues with him has been his speed, that's about it.

You Play crappy- you get crapped on.

You step up your game and correct mistakes -- you get praised.

Good job A-HEN.

I didn't like the large cushion he was giving at times, but those INT's dyno-mite!

I've always like Henry. He's slowing down, but who doesn't.

If Reeves got a game ball last week, then Henry deserves TWO this week!!!

As has been the case throughout his career, there will be peaks and valleys with Anthony Henry. There will be continue to be games like this. And what we saw last week in Irving.

In this league, corners are going to have their lunch handed to them from time to time. As long as some plays are made along the way, I can live with it.

Facing the Miami passing game certainly helps.

Henry makes it a successful homecoming
Cowboys defensive back Anthony Henry said he had to round up about 25 tickets for family and friends for today's game. He grew up in Fort Myers, Fla. and attended the University of South Florida. A little more than one quarter into today's game, he has his first interception of the season.

Most people continue to lament the loss of defensive back Terence Newman, but don't forget before Henry was injured midway through the 2005 season, he was arguably the team's best defensive player. He's just been injured so much since then.

When healthy, Henry is still an effective corner. No, he doesn't have Newman's speed, but he's not a liability.
