I'm looking around today trying to find the list of the best rushing performances (by game) in Dallas Cowboys history to see where the performance yesterday fits in by DeMarco... for some reason I am not finding it...anyone have a link to those types of all-time records for our 'boys, by chance...?

Murray's last game against the Rams 253, is the record I believe.

Surpassing Emmitt Smith's 1993 record of 237 yards

I was wondering where even Demarco's game yesterday ranked. I knew it wasn't #2 because of Emmitt's but wondered if it was top 5.

Yes, true, but somewhere out there is a list of all the best performances, with names like Emmitt and Tony on it :)

What's amazing to me about that list is that yesterday was the 3rd highest rushing total in a home game, and of those three? DeMarco has two of them. Wow.

Only two losses in all of those games listed. I assum one of them (v. Minnesota) was when Dorsett had his 99 yard run. It's listed as a Monday night game, but I could've sworn it was one of those rare (back then) special Thursday night games.

Troy Hambrick rushed for 189 yards. That's really unbelievable. Glad it was against the Commanders

I still remember those 2 games J. Jones put up (#4 & #5) and thinking boy was Bill ever right when he passed on Jackson for Jones.

Well that worked out well, Jones the flash in the pan.

It's not always how many yards, it is how they got them. For that reason, Emmitt will always have the best rushing game to me. Playing with one arm against the NYG to clinch the East and give him a third consecutive rushing title. He compiled 229 total yards with 168 of it rushing.

That was freaking awesome. One man wrecking crew that final drive. The man was a machine!

One of my favorite memories was Emmitt and Chris Warren running for over 100 each against the Commanders. I don't really know why that sticks out other than it was total domination.

I was at that game. A cold rain was falling the entire day at FedEx and we picked off the Redstinks QB a bunch of times. Fun day!

Guess who the QB was that day?

I stood that whole game in awe of what Smith was doing and what he was going through to do it. One of the best performances I ever saw.
