QB staubach (unless the huddle was being miked, then meredith for fun)
RB emmitt (sorry tony d. i still think of emmitt playing with a separated shoulder)
FB walt garrison
WR irvin
WR drew pearson
TE novacek
LT mark tuinei
LG larry allen
C dave manders
RG kevin gogan (serious mean streak)
RT ralph neely ( with a promise he wouldnt ride motorcycles)
DE ed (too-tall) jones (so many batted passes)
DT bob lilly
DT randy white ( i know he and lilly both played RT primarily but i want them both )
DE harvey (too-mean ) martin
MLB LeeRoy Jordan (the steadiest we ever had ) dang that cocaine Hollywood !!!
LOLB dexter coakley ( i always liked the speed of his motor )
ROLB Chuck howley (seemed to make big plays when we needed them)
CB mel renfro (parcells would love this guy..played safety,runningback,return kicks)
CB deion sanders (i know..not a true blue..but how can you not pick him ?)
FS cliff harris ( 5 years from now i hope its roy w. but for now longevity wins )
SS charlie waters (probably not better than cornell green, michael downs
but he has to be here with cliff harris )
P danny white (he was a great punter, and i never thought he got credit
for his QB ability so i am getting him on my list )
K chris boniol (have we ever had a really great kicker ?? i did like the way
seder ran the fake field goals )

pettis norman, nate newton, mark stepnoski, eric williams,jethro pugh,
larry (zero club ) cole, bob breunig, dave edwards, cornell green
and dennis thurman (of Thurmans Thieves fame ). with very few exceptions i have loved every Cowboy who ever played and i just cant list everybody can i ??
anyway..great idea even though it taxed my brain and brought back tons of good memories. thanks
