First off, save the "We should be 3-0" BS for another thread. We're a 2-1 Football team (after all, that's what our record says, right Bill?) and, after witnessing one of the better Cowboys Comeback in recent memory, it's time to put the whole MNF debacle behind us and start looking ahead. With that in mind, here are the Cowboys next 5 opponents:

-@ Oakland
-Philadelphia
-New York Giants
-@ Seattle
-Arizona

......and then we have a bye week. With the bye splitting the season driectly in two, it's extremely important to head into the bye with some good momentum as to carry it over for the second half and make a serious push at the Playoffs.

So what record will we have after the next 5 Games?

We need to be at least 5-3..........at 0-3 Oakland will be very tough. They will be hungry for a win next week. Hope we can slow Moss down

I think its just to hard to predict how the next two games are going to go. For whatever reason we just are not defending the deep ball well, which will be a huge liability against Oakland. We are also not tackling well, which could really kill us against Philly.
We did the blitzes go to? We need to rattle Collins, which could easily be done. Also, the Raiders D looks painfully slow, like to see more of JJ on the perimeter than plunging in to the center of the O-line like this week.
Against Philly, it'll probably boil down to how McNabb feels, he looked pretty average this week and he had TONS of time to throw. Offensively I have hope this year because Bledsoe has been our early season MVP and has made fewer mistakes than he was predicted to make, add to that that our pass protection has been decent and we'll have our chances to score.

You know, it's strange but I think we can beat the Eagles in Texas Stadium this year. I watched a little bit of their game with Oakland today and they have some weaknesses. Not some little things that you can nitpick at but some serious flaws that weren't even shown by Moss. If we can get the crowd behind us early, I think we pull off the upset.

I don't know how ANYONE can possibly predict the next 8 games.

We could easily be 0-3, 1-2, or 3-0 right now.

On any given day - we're capable of beating the Patriots and losing to the well, 49ers or Commanders.

I have the feeling like that might last until January. Break out the Tums.

Sure, I have a little time to kill.

First off, I don't know what is going on with McNabb this year but he seems to be much more tender than he has been in previous seasons. This was the second time in 3 games that I saw him walk to the sidelines looking like he was ready to pass out and die. Sure the numbers were good (against Oakland) but he was most definitely shaken up. It seems like he'd be much easier to take out of the game this season. Nothing illegal of course, just a blitz from his blindside with Roy coming free. Night Night.

Second, Akers is injured bad. Don't laugh. Akers is without a doubt one of the better kickers in the entire game and is a major cog in the Philthy offense. Did you see that last drive? The Eagles Offense had to drive the ball deep into Oakland territory before Reid even gave him a passing glance on the sidelines. Hell they even had to bring in Mark Simoneau (yes, their Linebacker) to try the first PAT and only went to Akers because Simoneau couldn't kick for **** and there were no other options. Add to it that Hammy's are nagging injuries, especially for the plant foot of a kicker, and he might not be ready for the game in Dallas.

Third, Collins ate Philthy's secondary alive and no it wasn't just Randy Moss. It was their TE Courtney Anderson (who?) with 100 yards receiving and 4 other Raiders combining for 259 yards and two touchdowns against them. This Eagles secondary looks pretty weak and we have already shown the ability to be able to pass for substantial amounts of yards this season. If we can give Drew some time, I think he can pick the Eagles apart piece-by-piece.

There were a few other things but I'm hungry now, so I'll leave it at that.
