Top 10 talent, bottom 10 pay. What's not to like? He doesn't play he doesn't get paid. Dude might help us win an extra 3-4 games...

After being suspended for 4 games don't think a lot of people are sold on him.

Good player but his history speaks for itself. Can't rely on him long term. Not a problem because Dallas smartly signed him to a 1 year deal. This will very likely be his last season as a Cowboy. No need to cut him now at this point.

On RoMac? I think he'll screw up or get lazy or just give up at some point and we'll be searching for a new MLB. the end of last season is a good example. I don't usually try to call a players injuries fake but given his history, I can't help but feel like he has mood swings where he feels like being a pro bowl linebacker and some days when he gets lazy and doesn't wanna do anything (I.e. The playoff last year).

Just my gut feeling, which I know doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the long run, but I can't help but shake the feeling. I honestly hope he finds his passion and runs over everyone in his path, but I just don't see it.

No, you're not.

You don't need to be sold. We've all seen what he can contribute in a game...that part is not an "unknown". He's a knuckle head but his salary reflects that. Cheap and very, very talented. Why would you cut him? Atleast not until you have someone as good or better and even then, he would be one of the best back up LBer's in the league with a backup LBer's salary to boot!

Yes.

Or no.

Depends on who you ask.

Draft his replacement next draft in the early rounds.......

Try to get by with him for one more season IMO.

Yep, who knows maybe Wilson will develop and become the guy.

If not, just draft a player next year but I agree Ro makes sense this year assuming he will not do something yet again to prevent that possibility.

Most likely, when the time comes that Dallas really needs him, he won't be there.

One more drug incident, and he's suspended for a year.

Fans love to say "I would cut him". It gives them a feeling of empowerment. It's emotion over logic.

Sure - McClain is his own worst enemy. But I distinctly remember telling my family during games last season 'watch number 55' - and way more often than not, he delivered with a ferocity that hadn't been displayed in the middle since Eugene Lockhart.

Is he a flake? Yep.

Is he a baller? Yep.

I have to pull for McClain until a better alternative comes along. So... 'rumble young man, rumble!'
