Not at all I'm sure the tie wraps they are using will hold just fine, maybe throw a little duc tape on for good measure. :laugh2:

They're probably just going to wing it.

:laugh2:

no doubt. Bungi cords are cheap and imagine how awesome it would be if the thing started moving.

Jerry would do an interview after the game about the screen now being 3D.

Because if something happened and it fell .... I am sure it would be during the 22 hours a year that the cowboys are actually on the field.

How cool would it be if they could make transparent synthetic turf with a screen like the one they used for the Opening ceremonies at the Olympics under it?

That's the next step.

If it was in fact unsafe, that would indeed be a possibility, no matter how remote. In light of the tragedies that have occurred while building Jerry World, they would be remiss to not make sure everything is structurally sound.

There was this scene in Lethal Weapon II, where Riggs (Mel Gibson) was in the cargo hold of this ship. He had been the beaten the crap out of the guy who killed his wife and thought about snapping his neck.

He didn't though. Instead, he looked around and saw this crane switch dangling in the distance. His leg was hurt pretty bad during the fight, so he had to hop/drag over to the switch.

The switch was responsible for holding this huge freight cannister above the hold. Just when the bad guy stood up to shoot him in the back, Riggs hit the release button. It was in slow motion. The guy was staring at death from above. I would say that he was crushed as thin as a pancake, but that would be an understatement.

Anyhoo, that crossed my mind when I read your comment. Carry on. :)

They can't even construct it if they don't meet safety criteria. Not even as a "let us show you" effort.

actually, the vibrations of a packed house and roaring crowd coupled with the world's highest punt ever could be the exact recipe needed to create the disaster...

Then the team won't be able to get off the field because they didn't run wind sprints in Camp Cupcake. Big mistake.

Actually, I think Jerry has a trap door button in his owner's box used to activate it the next time he wants to blowup the team.

As long as it clipped Rowdy on the way down, I would be fine with it.
