Am I wrong for wanting to see more Turbin?

Talking McFadden vs. Turbin is a solid reminder that they need an upgrade at RB this offseason.

They got flat out owned on that play. Skins knew it was coming and our line couldn't block squat. This line has regressed and I don't understand how they did so and so quickly too.

They had zero respect for the Pass game. Most teams have played Dallas that way this year.

That 3rd and one was stopped by the end or linebacker crashing down from the outside.
I have seen the same play stopped the same way on more than one occasion this yr.
The blocking scheme on that play required free and witten to reach for their blocks quickly.
Wouldn't mind seeing that play redesigned or better yet, trashed.
The real killer in that series was first down. Dez has a half step and leverage on the cb and a lineman reaches up and bats the ball away.
Still should punch it in from there with 2 tries

This is true. Might as well find out what Turbin can do behind this line in real game situations to see if he sould even be a consideration for next year. The effort i see gives me hope.

it will be Turbin's time if DMC gets hurt. Otherwise he'll fail to take advantage of the chances he doesnt get and they'll move on.

Yeah I don't get it. Reports are he is a RKG and has run well but they seem inclined to never play him until absolutely necessary.

It's all part of Garrett playing scared.

The one fumble exchange between him and Cassel is enough to make any coach nervous about using him.

Alot of teams dont really know what their backups can do. Davonta Freeman was sitting on the bench for three years in Atlanta.

Good point. He seems overall reliable though is pass pro and running.

The big thing for me is that he doesn't need carries to get warmed up. McFadden does. That's alright if a RB does, but not when they are playing the #2 RB. And I like McFadden to a certain extent, but he's really not a very good zone running back and it forces us to use more man blocking for him. So things don't mesh that well between McFadden and the O-Line. I would like to see us go with a rookie RB, McFadden, Dunbar and Turbin. Pencil Turbin in at #2 and try to ease the rookie RB into the mix as McFadden starts early on with some help from Dunbar. McFadden is basically on a pay-for-play deal, so if the rookie RB can take over, it's not a big hit to us cap-wise.

Looks to me like Mc Fadden might be wearing down. I would like to see a little more Turbin who seems to be running straight forward and with some passion.

I just finished saying this.

Especially in goal line situations, IMO.

The OL looks bad i agree. Especially on that 3-1 goalline play.

Its not the line, its the play calling. Any time we are in 3rd/4th and short we run it middle/right. Any coach who studies any game film for 5 minutes knows this about us. How about a pitch to the outside or even better yet a QB sneak considering its not Romo.

Considering the circumstances, I'm okay with Darren "Chicken Legs" and "Big Guns" Turbin as our one-two punch for the moment.
