Well, we were faced with getting, nothing so I will take another 5th rounder thus year!
Wow... just WOW
I am done following this pathetic team
Yeah facts. They showed their hand. Why they continue to talk I have no idea. Wait yes I do.
So basically a 5th. Wow
I wonder if it’ll be the 5th or 6th rounder?
Sorry I’m not attacking you. Just furious we get fleeced again
Yeah can’t believe the lack of deep thinking.
It also gives Gallup the advantage in negotiations. Now, we need to sign him because we traded away the other option.
I’m assuming his salary was the reason they only got a 5th, but sheesh, I was expecting no less than a 3rd or 4th.
Ugh…. We just gave away our best WR for peanuts. Pathetic strategy.
Only positive is that he is in the AFC as watching him torch us if went to a NFC rival would have sucked the most.
Crossing fingers this means we are in play for a guy like Wagner— but chances are we are in a full on roster purge with eyes for 2023.
Sabbatical year for me is looking more and more likely lol
That's what he gets for calling Dak the black Kirk Cousins...lol!
God these idiots Jones are driving me nuts.
I don't consider it getting fleeced. We weren't keeping Cooper so any compensation is better than just cutting him. If the options were either keeping him or getting a draft pick, then we could say we got fleeced. As is, the Cowboys were just going to accept the best offer they could get. And this was it.
Who cares if he went to an NFC team. He'd probably be injured when we played them anyway.
There might have been 8 teams interested but that doesn't mean there were 8 teams interested in giving the Cowboys a high draft pick. Some could have been offering a 7th or 6th only.
Maybe this clears the way for a deal to be completed with Gallup, since Cooper money can come off the books.
Mike Williams is a beast
We just got hosed by the Cleveland Browns front office. The Cleveland Browns. Unbelievable. We just converted a first round pick into a fifth
