    Ugh…. We just gave away our best WR for peanuts. Pathetic strategy.

    Only positive is that he is in the AFC as watching him torch us if went to a NFC rival would have sucked the most.

    Crossing fingers this means we are in play for a guy like Wagner— but chances are we are in a full on roster purge with eyes for 2023.

    Sabbatical year for me is looking more and more likely lol

    I don't consider it getting fleeced. We weren't keeping Cooper so any compensation is better than just cutting him. If the options were either keeping him or getting a draft pick, then we could say we got fleeced. As is, the Cowboys were just going to accept the best offer they could get. And this was it.

    There might have been 8 teams interested but that doesn't mean there were 8 teams interested in giving the Cowboys a high draft pick. Some could have been offering a 7th or 6th only.
