Amazing work by NFL Films/NFL Network putting together sideline, game, and postgame interviews of film on this play. Check out the Giants' secondary coach telling the UDFA Bruce Johnson what to look for and do ... that if RW "peeks inside" that B. Johnson should disguise his coverage ... it worked for the Giants and we got hosed ...

Forget the story in this thread, just watch the four-minute video.

Excuse me if this has posted ..

Boys and girls, it looks like the Giants just did more film work than we did and knew our tendencies and designed plays ... more so than the Cowboys might have thought that the Giants wouldn't have known what was coming and wouldn't have adjusted. .. Does that make sense?

Great viewing even if it makes you want to bash your head up against a wall .. shows you the level of detail of what Tony and other NFL quarterbacks have to deal with at the snap ...

Thats why they all get paid the big bucks. To come out on top of the chess game. Only Antonio Pierce doesn't get the same money or fame as Romo, but he has the rings and respect around teh league. AHHHHHH WELL.

If you really think Antonio Pierce is revered around the league more than Tony Romo is, I feel so very sorry for you.

I don't think he is either. His mouth does a lot more work than his play does and I highly doubt other guys like to hear about it.

Don't forget that he lacks leadership and is a racist and gets distracted by his celebrity girlfriends!

Sorry, Pierce has always been a good LB. I remember when he got signed away from the Commanders, I thought it was a big mistake on their part to let him go. Inspirational and smart. Don't let the fact that he's a thorn in our side fool you there.

Unlike Big Mouth Jacobs, he's much more likely to deliver on the playing field against us.

What player are you watching? He gets this smart label by telling everyone hes a leader and he gets everyone lined up.

On the field? He is not an NFL caliber athlete.

I hate Jacobs, I dont hate Pierce. But Jacobs and his 3.3 avg are better than Pierce.

Telling everyone hes a leader? Strahan called him the heart and soul of the defense. Jacobs called him the Giants fearless leader. I swear to god man.lol

Pierce is a decent player but he isn't as good as he would like people to believe.

He's not a top 10 LB in the league and he would have you believe otherwise with all the spouting at the mouth he does.

I just said he has more respect around the league than Romo does. I dont think thats even debatable. You saw how he gave Witten props on being the best tight end in the game. I will always mess with J wit even if he was one of the people who had a hand in getting rid of TO. Romo on the otherhand? please. Some people in the league get respect because of their leadership and how they prepare for games. Others are just known for their contract and who they date. I'll let you figure out who that is.

I have never heard an opposing player say anything positive about Romo. If it was it was a felloow qb.

If I take the time to dig up several quotes that directly contradict this outlandish claim of yours, would it change your mind?

If you honestly haven't its your own fault.

If you want to say Pierce gets more respect, have at it. It's really not even a debatable topic as none of us know our ***** from a hole in the ground when it comes to player perception through out the league.

IMO, Pierce is more talk than he is action and I can't see any other players around the league taking a liking to that. That's the way I'm seeing it. You're free to see whatever it is you wish.

And to say Romo is only know for his contract and who he dates is ridiculous. He was receiving high praise prior to getting tail and coin. Parcells routinely reminded people to not buy into the hype. Romo the player arrived before Romo the celebrity. That is a fact. Money and women came after his play. It doesn't work any other way and you know it doesn't. People don't go from complete unknown to celebrity without something happening in between. Jerry didn't pay Romo because he was seeing his mug on the National Enquirer when he was at the supermarket.

I've hurled my share of insults toward Romo and am shocked and disappointed he hasn't gotten turnovers under control yet but I'm not gonna go off the deep end and say he hasn't earned his way.

There was one other play where the Gaints know that when the show the blitz, it will be a slant. so one of the blitzing LB immediately wen to the slot area instead of blitzing and disrupted the pass.

Are our schemes too obvious?
