Amendola's father hit by golf cart at state title game in ’11 suing Cowboys Stadium

Sixteen months after plowing into a high school football coach and a group of reporters, this golf cart apparently still has wheels.

Former Spring Dekaney coach Willie Amendola and his wife, Valarie, have filed a lawsuit against Cowboys Stadium seeking more than $1 million in damages for the incident which occurred after the Class 5A Division II Championship Game between Dekaney and Steele on Dec. 17, 2011.

Amendola appeared to not suffer serious injuries at the time, even cracking a joke while resuming his post-game interviews.

“Did you guys get that? Wonder what the UIL is going to do about that?” Amendola told the Express-News then.

According to the lawsuit, the incident caused Amendola physical pain, “mental anguish,” “loss of earning capacity” and “loss of enjoyment.

What a noob. Yea it's unfortunate that it happened, but suing for $1 million for "Great personal anguish and embarrassment?" Give me a freakin break. People in this country are so money-hungry it's ridiculous. Take it like a man and move on!

My point is, all 32 NFL teams have their issues. I'm sure you can make a similar list about any other team

Was this a cart supplied by Cowboys Stadium or rented for the event? If they were just rented for the event how is it Jerry's fault? Sue the golf cart supplier.
