The wording in the lawsuit is required to make the claim into the court it has been entered into. It's standard personal injury BS,

None of us know anything about Amendola's injuries, but generally juries don't give million dollar awards to people that don't look like they have been messed up pretty bad.

I am not sure which one is Amendola, but it wouldn't be hard to believe that some of those people that got hit by it would have some long term injury. They have already negotiated on this to some point most likely and couldn't come to an agreement.

I like how the one guy who ends up in the cart and sorta controlling it, jumps out, rather than tries to hit the brake.

Hysterical, what was he thinking?

I hope they throw the case out and then run the guy over with a golf cart just for filing it.

Sounds like someone wants some vacation money. BS lawsuit considering her was laughing and made jokes about it after it happened. Nor was he injured. Toss it out, waste of time.

Indeed. The only "million dollars" involved here will be the totality of the money wasted in trying the case between lawyers fees and court fees.

It's all the same wording that you will see in any personal injury case, from car accidents to slip and falls and everything in between.

The wife is a co-plaintiff because if her husband is suffering from an injury and can't do the same things he could before the accident then she is suffering a loss. Maybe his back is injured to the point that he can't sleep in the same bed with her. Maybe the pain is such that he can't have "marital relations" with her. All things have to be filed at once....they get one shot to do this.

I am not saying that I think it's legit but it's like anything else...a lot of times it's over a few days that you find out about the extent of injuries. For a crazy example....we all saw Ware's leg get snapped at the basketball tournament. HE wasn't screaming, crying or anything...he immediately went into shock and so he was surprisingly not in obvious pain. Closer to home, my son dislocated his elbow wrestling...it was not a pretty sight. When it happened, there was a loud, primal scream that I won't ever forget. It came from the other kid....not my son. My son was surprisingly calm...much more calm than his father was. As the adrenaline wore off, he was in considerable pain...so much so that the painkillers they gave him weren't touching the pain.

I worked for years as an insurance adjuster and a short stint working for a personal injury attorney. I tend to always be incredibly biased against those making these types of claims but I wouldn't completely dismiss it either. He deserves his day in court. That video will be solid evidence for a plaintiff attorney to make the suggestion he was hurt. If he was one of the guys initially hit that is pretty strong. The biggest things in his regard will be how recently after the event he sought treatment and what the injuries are. While so many want to dismiss this, you never know.

You really have to wonder if being anywhere close to Jerry Jones is to test karma. The spirits do not seem to like the man.
If that's true, I want to have bad luck with his Billions.
