Now as to whether you get to cut in line; or get behind someone like me who already has non-club seats has not been determined.
Neither has the prices.

Not entirely correct.

The better your EXISTING SEATS, the higher you are in the pecking order, regardless if you choose to scale down or not.

People aren't misunderstanding anything. Maybe you don't understand this...

There are no "good" seats that aren't Club Seats. From Goal Line to Goal Line for all lower decks their all club seats!

Sorry, that's just flatly incorrect.

I never understood the whole "good seat" worry ..... the times I went to a Texas Stadium game, I went for the atmosphere.

No matter what seats you have (and I have had really good ones on 3 different occasions) it will never be as good as the TV as far as being able to see every play clear as day.

My son asked me "if the Cowboys were playing in the Superbowl, would you like to go?"

and my honest answer was "No .... I would rather be able to see the entire game"

My advice to the season ticket holders would be to trade then for some cheaper seats.

Here's a quick and simple enough alternative, DON'T BUY "CLUB LEVEL" TICKETS!!

I've been out there TWICE, and I don't quite get what's so hard for ppl to comprehend?

You're being shown THE HIGHEST PRICED TICKET LEVEL AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THERE WILL BE LOWER PRICED TICKETS AVAILABLE, but NOT UNTIL FEB OR MARCH.

It's NOT really THAT hard to understand, is it!?

:bang2:

exactly right. In my case though I am afraid the seat licenses will be more than I am willing to spend right now. It is going to be a bummer when i have to scramble every week for tickets.

So true. I'm a distant fan so season tickets are not the agenda for me, but I would have to seriously consider other things I could do for that kind of money. I wonder what will happen to the tailgate atmosphere outside the stadium at these prices.

There won't be any tailgates...only Limos, Hummers, Mercedes, RV's....you get the picture.

Ok maybe I should have said "great" seats but still look @ this seating map.

http://www.dallascowboys.com/NewStadiumSectionMap.pdf

Tell me what you see.

What that means is those sections labeled with a "C" will be bought up by either the super rich, or by corporations

I.E those tickets will be easily available for opposing fans to purchase

I really do want to check this place out, I think when it is built it will be the finest sporting facility in the world, thanks Jerry :)

Only Club Seating members will have access to up close parking (comparable to current Blue parking). THERE WILL BE NO TAILGATING ALLOWED IN THIS LOT!!! There will however be a designated "tailgating area" available somewhere nearby the stadium. :(

I was NOT shown seats at the highest pricing level. Like others said there are $50,000 seats all the way to $150,000,00 seats. If your on the 30 yard line three levels up you are still playing $ 350,000 for two seats.

Your options are take their offer or leave it. If you dont take it they will take a 500.00 per seat deposit and call you later down the road and offer you other seats. So im sure in a few months i can expect a call saying: Hey we got these great seats on the 27 yard line on the second level they will cost you $35,000 per seat and 340 per game ticket. Take it or leave it. So i would still be in the same boat only with worse seats.

As for tailgating. You will no longer be allowed to tailgate in the blue parking. There will be grass fields you can carry your stuff to away from the parking. So you tailgaters better invest in a generator!

And i asked about the endzone PSL's. They will be anywhere from $ 12000 to $14000 per seat with a ticket price between $200 to 240. even in the nose bleed section.

Even ifyou fet a second mortgage on your house you still have to bay a boat load of interest and still own the same house. so eventually you get nothing.

Meh.... the best way to watch a game is on a big wide screen TV anyways.
I pay the same price every game :D

15,000 out of 80,000 ttl capacity (not counting SRO endzone), is what I see.

IK thats what they are claiming but it sure looks like more than 18% of the seats are club to me.

The Colts have their club section from the 25ydln to 25ydln. I wish we had done something similar.

At those prices I think Jerry's going to have trouble filling up his stadium. D-FW folk better start getting used to blackouts.

Back before Texas Stadium opened up, some reporter ask Tex Schramm about whether people would pay those prices and he answered "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." I wasn't smart enough to pay those prices and so I have never been to Texas Stadium even though I lived in Dallas for many years. Apparently it was a big financial success anyway.

I don't expect to be smart enough to pay the kind of money it is going to take to go to Jerry's grand new digs either. I will continue to sit back like a dummy in my own den, stupidly watching the games on TV just like I have done since the Boys moved out of the Cotton Bowl - the last time I went to a Cowboys game. Actually, I don't miss the crowds and traffic jams one little bit.

My sincere thanks to all the more intelligent people who can afford to go to games so that the poor old dummies like me can enjoy the game onTV at home.

Who knows, maybe Jerry's right, maybe his new stadium will be a big financial success but from where I sit I have a hard time thinking he's going to fill it up at those prices, but I could be wrong.

So tell me are you a season ticket holder or an average Joe who can afford to go see a game or two during the season? Did you renew your tickets since you have been to the presentation twice? Have you ever been to texas stadium?

Or are you just here causing trouble cause you can?

Dude you just broke my heart. What a miserable 7 days I am having.

12000 for the psl in the endzone? That is just absurd. That place is going to be a ghost town if or when there are losing seasons.

I dont get the thought process here from jerry, we voted on a half a billion dollar stadium and the city agreed to pay half, now the stadium is over a billion and he unveils these pricing levels.

I cant believe they are willing to cut out the everyday person, the people who live and die with the team.

I said this the other day and I will say it again, by march jerry is going to be public enemy number 1 around here. With that loss, the loss of coaches and the price of the tickets of the new stadium he is going to be hammered everyday until next season.

I hope he doesnt blow the draft.
