Lets all go back and watch the INDY game, the Carolina game, Commanders game 1, Arizona, Tampa Bay.
Lets go back and look at how our Boys are CAPABLE of playing and try to muster a little HOPE that the guys will come out FOCUSED, EMOTIONAL, and FIRED UP for this game! This team is CAPABLE of playing VERY well. Lets not just look at the last 3 games as the outcome of our season. ITS NOT OVER!!!
I'm starting to think about this game and thinking that this is the kind of team that we match up well with. The last several games we've played have ALL been against more wide open/abnormal offenses. Seattle is more of a balanced/standard attack team. You're either getting run at by Alexander or passed at by Hassellbeck to REGULAR recievers. We're not facing any crazy athletes like Brian Westbrook or Reggie Bush. We're not facing a Mike Martz offense (still no excuse for playing like that against them but just think about it).
Those kind of offenses are sort of problematic for the 3-4 because they're constantly looking for mismatches.
This Seattle offense is more of a balanced offense. They've run the ball 484 times compared to 512 passing plays. Compare that to Philly (416 runs to 544 passes) and Detroit (304 runs to 596 passes).
We've done well defensively against those standard offense teams like the Colts, Giants, Commanders, Panthers, Bucs, Cards.
