And that is why Goff was the 1 pick of the whole draft

Lol Saints were getting pressure on him

"Pressure"? LOL. How many sacks did he have between the Cowboys and Saints in his two, Big Dog playoff games? Going off memory, not resorting to stats, I'd say ONE.

So answer my question.

Do you take Goff with Linehan/Garrett or McVey with Dak?
Dak wouldnt be able to run McVays offense. That offense is based on big plays downfield and requires a better deep thrower then Dak. McVay would be faced with the same issues Garrett and Linehan have had. He might be slightly more creative but half the playbook would be put on the shelf.

A great coach doesn’t marry himself to 1 type of play and need it to win. McVey or any offensive minded coach for a crap would adjust the offense to the players. Not just QB either.

So it’s Daks fault our offense wasn’t very good and not Linehans or Garrett’s?
Was it Romo’s fault also?

Its both but Daks physically unable to make all the throws with enough consistency to back off a defense that is standing 3 yards within the line of scrimmage with 8 guys looking to stuff the run or pass with 3 more guys 2 yards back waiting to stuff the short passing game.
Being one dimensional in the passing game has hurt this teams ability to run. Dak is throwing more mid range passes but he isnt consistent enough for defenses to worry about that. Defenses will continue to play the run and stuff the short passing game until proven otherwise. This team was better offensively with Romo but Romo never had as a good of a defense. Dak now has a great opportunity because of the defense. The problem is now half the passing game play book is closed. This team is a middle to upper tier team but is not in the same league as the 4 teams that played this weekend. One reason is the coaching and the other reason is Dak cannot make those key 3rd down throws when its 3rd and 7 +. Those QBs struggle too but convert those on a more consistent basis.

Basically in simple terms Dak has to put too much effort into mid to long range throws and lacks accuracy when putting more effort. That leads to inconsistency and there is nothing anyone can do to help it.

Back in 2016 he was. Goff has greatly improved since then. The head coaching coaching change really helped him.
You're absolutely right. Goff had a rough rookie year while Dak had an amazing one. But Goff has gotten a lot better since then.

Pretty sure Wade's defense won that game holding the Saints to 10 points over the final 3 quarters and stuffing them in OT. Goff was ok.

Wade is the most under-appreciated legend in football today. He’s my only hope in the SB.

was the #1 pick of the whole draft. Exactly what we need fellas and gals. Key completions when the $ was on the line. 3 years in and GOFF is the starting SB QB, bus drivers need not apply. Will be Goff and Brady or Mahomes, only Throughbreds need apply.

If it is all about adjusting to the players, and on coaching, then all backup players should come in and ball out.

Goff is a bus driver. He doesn’t do anything special, IMO. He has the best coach in the league (at least not named Belichick) and still is underwhelming.

Thread sux.

You sound more jealous than anything because our QB sucks and is a worse bus driver than goff!
