For all you Star Trek fans (like me!) Angels and Demons is better than the current Star Trek movie. (which I think is the best Star Trek movie yet)

I have a very hard time believing that and I wasn't overwhelmed by Star Trek either. Everything I've heard says that, while better than The Da Vinci Crap, it's still average at best. That to me means that either I'll see it but WILL NOT pay for it, or I will wait to rent it. Terminator is in 5 days, so I really couldn't care less about this movie.

Nerd of today = most of us

Terminator is in 5 days, so I really couldn't care less about this movie.

I love the movies and the tv series and yet the previews look blahh... hope its the opposite of the previews.

They didnt need to make T3... hope thats not the case here.

Previews look blah??? They are far and away the best previews of any movie this summer. Especially the 4 minute long trailer that is out now.

Yes she was, I didnt like Nick Stahl though. I like the premise of the movie, a female terminator.

I have only seen Nick Stahl in a couple of things and he hasn't impressed at all.

I just saw Angels and Demons.

The movie was good.
The story was better.

Overall, I just like the emphasis on you know what vs Science.
There is room for both. Ultimately you know what uses what science creates to advance LIFE.

That is indisputable.

I liked the movie, saw it last night. I am big on conspiracy theories so knowing there is a nice Roman Catholic Church conspiracy to suppress science to save the church is a bonus

I preferred DaVinci Code myself as the killer Silas was more interesting that the boring killer in Angels although the way his car exploded at the end was awesome.

I knew Obi Wan aka Ewan Macgregor was bad the second I saw him in the movie even though I hadn`t read the book.

I preferred Audrey Totou`s character in Code to the one in Angels although the Angels one is hotter (loved the way she was dressed completely in black and had on cute boots).

After seeing the movie last night all I could say was `oh you Catholics` to Ms. CCF who is a non-practicing Catholic

As an evangelical Christian, I was supposed to be enraged by the Da Vinci Code. Unfortunately, the movie bored me into a slumbering stupor long before I could be enraged.

we had protesters at my movie theater claming its all a lie and Christans wouldn't harm anyone (i reminded them of the Christan Crusades, that was "made up" though)

I have no doubt that Christ fathered a child, no way he was a virgin but whether it was with Mary Magdalene or not is the real issue.

Next time I am in Paris, I will have to look for her tomb in the Louvres
