Watched Kirilov/Perez on Showtime. Kirilov dominates the fight, both the Showtime people and all the press row scoring had it comfortable for him. Bernstein had it 117-111.

Perez's corner tells him he needs a KO in the 12th.

I have a few people here for an event tommorrow watching with me when I announced Perez is the winner before the decision is announced.

They thought I was nuts until I pointed out that the ring had donking.com encircling it.

At least the crowd caught on and started the "BS" chant and gave Kirilov a standing O on his way out of the ring.

Moral of the story:

You watched it an probably will continue to, as do all boxing aficianados.

I give kudos to the apparent attempts the last 2-3 years to resurrect boxing to it's former status, but, sadly, such a thing won't happen until King retires/dies.

I still wish for the day when we have one boxing commission. One belt per weight class. Good rankings. And no more payper views with boxing returning to network television.

That falls on fans as much as anything.

I mean, there isn't just one football league, but there is only one that is really considered great.

There just aren't enough boxing fans that see it that way, I suppose.

That splendiferous idea is riddled with jaded uniformity. The legend now establishes without refutation, a personification of class and greatness. He's growing, and I enjoy him. It really tickles my fancy to see him - his splendour, his presentation, his loquaciousness.....only in America!!!
