Neither 8-8, 7-9, or 9-7 would do us any good in terms of making a playoff push, or be a serious contender coming out of the NFC (not with this defense). Moreover, it gets us a middle round draft pick. Whoopee!

We've got a young nucleus on offense with Dak and Zeke in the fold. I honestly shouldn't complain about losses from here on out if it gets our inept couching staff canned as well as a top 10 position in each draft round, and a softer schedule for 2018. That's where I'm at now. We've seen this script before.

But...in true Dallas Cowboys fashion, we'll win *just enough* to hang on to faint wild card chances (until we're knocked out), and win *just enough* for JG and Co. to come back next year.

Only scared in the context of this team trying to beat them. Giving up the first 10 yards free is exactly what those teams want to do.

Denver was an anomaly. LA was a beast rb meeting with a Sean Lee less defense that was playing well until Switzer fumbled. Then there's Aaron Rodgers. It's obvious we need to draft a real linebacker unless Jaylon gets back 100 percent because we can't afford to lose Lee. On the flip side, Carolina fell apart without Luke and Seattle was flopping without Earl Thomas. I'm just not as worried as y'all are. The future is bright. We have a great gm (Mclay) and great young pieces. Coaching?

I agree that if we don't get in the playoffs the worse record we have the better. There have been years we fought like hell to get to 5 and 11, for what?
