So Aaron Rodgers still qualifies despite missing all those starts?
You need to average 14 attempts per game for all of your team's games, which is 224 attempts. That's how many McCown has now, and Rodgers is at 251.

In 2010, Romo was 11 attempts short of qualifying. If he'd been knocked out of the Giants game in the 4th quarter instead of the 2nd, he'd have 8 top 10's already.

Not bad for an UDFA.Sad to see such a good QB go to waste. I appreciate you Tony. Nice guy who plays his *** off and has nothing to show for it but stats and a bad rep for choking.:(

Right on, bro. Do those states even show how many pass breakups he had while playing CB or Pancakes when he was on the line?

I don't think they do. I think they're QB stats, only. Which obviously only tells part of the story.

One has to wonder, after seventeen years of mediocrity, do these stat supplant play-off victories and SB Championships in the minds of some.

It sure does appear pike this is all Dallas has to show for another season in Purgatory.

Dallas played another year without a play-off appearance and all I got was a T-shirt with Romo's stats.

I think most of us evaluate play at his position separately from how we evaluate the team overall. Which, really, is the only sensible way to look at the quality of your QB positional play. In fact, I can't think of a single rational reason for doing otherwise.

Great QB with lousy HC... His numbers would be even more amazing if he didn't have such clowns that get him killed.

I agree. Yet it appears the only thing on this board that matters is Romo's stats. If you brought in someone from Romania who doesn't even know this game and had him read the board what would he come away with?

This Romo guy is talked about more than anything else.

Not saying he shouldn't be. But for some, it sure does seem that huis stats take the place of real TEAM accomplishments.

I think it's unlikely that any of us will ever see seven straight top 10's by a Dallas QB again in our lifetimes, if that means anything to you.
