Another top OC candidate turns down the Eagles

Greg Roman to Philly? He was there before wasn't he? Brandon Staley? Lol. Yikes on both .

Everyone that has watched hurts plays knows he's not a passer. you need an OC running RPO offense like Baltimore used to run to get anything out of hurts. No coach wants any part of him
Keep telling yourself that. You'll be calling them a Super Team when he has success next year. Which is usually his MO after bad seasons.

Meanwhile Daks been in the league for a decade and yall go crazy over his MVP-esque empty stats and blame everybody else for his constant failures and crapping the bed when it counts.

But somehow Kellen Moore got a chip with Jalen and coached him to having another 70+% completion, with multiple tds and great a Super Bowl stat-line. His 2nd time doing that btw. Of which only he and Tom Brady are the only qbs in NFL history to post. While Daks only apperance in official capcity at a Super Nowl was to accept an award. But he did throw for nearly 5k yards with 2 1k wrs for a total of 7 wins this year!

Crazy!

I think its more yikes on not being able to win anything for 30+ years.

History says the Eagles do well in their reseting and retooling. But i understand the giddiness around here.
Well, yeah...why even bring that part up? One has nothing to do with the other. The topic was pertaining to the Philly search. Not our 30 years of empty promises. We are well aware of it, believe that lol. I hate Philly with a passion. But I respect the bravado the GM has there. He's not scared to make swift changes on staff or players. Can't stand him either, but damn he's good. I'm hoping they bring in a Patullo clone or a retread.

I get the NFCE is not a tough division, but Philly won it, again, with Sirianni/Patullo/Hurts. It will not take a McDaniel or Daboll replacing Patullo to do it yet again. Sad, but true.

But what you should pay attention to is how they finished. They were a train wreck at the end stumbling into the playoffs playing some ugly football. So, winning the NFC Least isn't enough to keep Howie Roseman from blowing up the team.

They only have a few more until an abyss. They have about 400 million in void years between 2027 and 2032. Could wind up being more if they want flip switches to create more space this offseason

They are looking at tear down and rebuild around 2028. However, its hard to argue the strategy, even with the downsides considering the results. They'd have gotten even more out of it if Hurts was a good passer

One has to wonder if that impending cap squeeze is why they are having a hard time landing an OC

Daball wants HC Bills job?...lol based on what resume.
Daboll remains highly-regarded in Buffalo where, as OC, he was credited with developing a raw Josh Allen. His success there is what got him the NYG job. A second BUF stint would give him the opportunity to return to doing what he probably does best, where he enjoyed his greatest career success.
