Kid played really well from what I saw today and all the experience he is getting is a huge bonus.
Yes, the slot CB especially needs to tackle well. I would prefer Brown to cover the slot WR.Yeah, he's really making Scandrick expendable. Plus oscans unwillingness to tackle is hurting the secondary a bit. If you watch him, he'll take angles so he doesn't have to do anything heavy lifting. Which is a shame because he beat out Jenkins back in 2008-09 with his tenacity. He's made his money and now won't leave it all on the line
He is a keeper. He actually made a proactive play on the ball!!
He needs to be the starter over scandrick now. He's played too well not to.
That, and scandrick looked like hot garbage today. Again.
Yeah, he's really making Scandrick expendable. Plus oscans unwillingness to tackle is hurting the secondary a bit. If you watch him, he'll take angles so he doesn't have to do anything physical (and that's generally when you get hurt, half assing arm tackles). Which is a shame because he beat out Jenkins back in 2008-09 with his tenacity. He's made his money and now won't leave it all on the line
I never said anything about the depth. I am calling out OScan's lack wanting to get his hands dirty in tackles. Especially when everyone else is laying people outYeah, cuz DB depth is overrated...

Waiting for someone to get healthy is how Romo lost his job to Dak. Now Scandrick is losing his job to Brown. Like Romo said, nothing is a given in this league, it can pass you by, especially if a younger and much cheaper player is taking your positionGive the man a chance to get healthy and up to speed,,, sheesh, you act like he hasn't been one of our best defenders over the years.
I think Tapper is a player too if he makes it back.Big time draft class. At the very least, a franchise QB, the best RB in the league and a starting caliber CB in one draft. Collins is a serviceable starting DT. If J.Smith ever gets healthy...oh baby!!
Or its a rich, fat and happy thing. Many guys get their cash and mail it in. Hopefully you're right, but there's no excuse for backing off of a potential tackle (ala Mike Jenkins)You've seen enough of Scandrick over the years to know that something's not right with him. It's not a skill thing, it's a health thing.
