Now that Tony Romo has replaced Drew Bledsoe as the Cowboys' starting quarterback, Fasano could get more passes directed his way. Fasano has excellent hands and runs good routes, but he doesn’t have much speed and that makes it difficult for him to separate from linebackers. (Jean-Jacques Taylor for SN)

everyone will get their share of touches now that romo is our qb and that includes fasano..

it would probably be an automatic td when they are inside the 5 yard line with all the other weapons having to be accounted for:

Fasano isn't fast, but thats bs that jjt is throwing out about him not getting separation. Bledsoe just never looked for him.

Plus we had to keep in the TEs to assist in pass protection because of Drew, limiting his oppurtunities.

One big advantage we had vs the Panthers is that our Tight Ends were able to catch the ball and theirs werent. Fasano & Witten >>> Mangunm & Gaines...

Madden said Parcells told him that Fasano is more of a Fullback ?? I'm not sue about that b/c he looks a bit too tall to be a FB.

Talk about a studly pair if Fasano is as good as advertised, matched only by Tom Brady's twin pair of Graham and Watson. Mangum and Gaines are second teir in comparison to the Dallas or New England talent level at the position.

You don't realize that because its not true. Furthermore, no one said as much.

I'm assuming by saying that he "doesn't have much speed", they're implying that he's not of the Vernon Davis/Kellen Winslow mold that has become more common as of late. That's fine, becasue he's not playing the same role. He is a hybrid. He's fast enough to fill his role, and has fantastic hands to boot...

If this guy keeps getting better at blocking...
