It's been a great first couple of weeks with all of the excitement involving the players returning for mini-camps. No one created nearly as much excitement, enthusiasm, and hope than TO. With every catch & run, he showed why he is one of, if not THE most feared WRs in the NFL today.

However, the flip side to Owens' success was the struggles of Anthony Henry's attempts to contain Terrell. It seemed that one of the best signings of last year's FA, and the unofficial MVP of the first half of 2005 was running in a lower gear. What's up? Wasn't he the guy the Cowboy's signed to handle big receivers like TO?

Yes, he was, & yes, he will. So, never fear. All one has to do is think back to early 2005. Same exact scenerio. Didn't Henry look a little overweight? Doesn't he seem a step too slow. That's when the hand ringing began....and he wasn't facing anyone near the talent of a TO. No offense Terry & Key.

Anthony Henry has been doing the same thing since his rookie days in Cleveland. I ought to know, I live in NE Ohio. Then the pads & helmets went on-everyone. Now, it didn't seem to make the slightest difference to the large (for a CB) Henry, 6-2, 210. It did, however, even things up a bit for the more slight WRs. As the draft gurus say, Henry "carries his pads well". There is also the aspect of being freed up the make much more contact, which Henry does with the best of them.

One other thing I'm sure you all know, but is worth repeating. TO can & does make the best of them look real bad at times. Just go on DC.com right now & watch Solomon Wilcots' feature on our favorite bad boy that aired on NFL Total Access. It shows TO's attribute as one of the best YAC WRs in the business. In the first clip, he snatches a five yd. toss against DeAngelo Hall & picks up an additional 15 yds. after that. Then it shows him paired against CB Champ Bailey, widely believed to be one of the top DBs in the NFL, takes another five yarder, and after some fine juking, goes house for a 92 yd. TD.

So, TO will give us a win-win situation. Not only will he give Bledsoe a target that Drew can dump off to in a hurry if need be, with the QB knowing very good things can happen after that, but he will challenge a fine CB in Henry to stretch himself to be the best he's ever been....and he's already pretty darn good.

I'm glad to see Henry back at 100%. Having to cover Owen's on a consistant basis in practice should indeed drive Henry to reach down even deeper and strive to be even better...barring injury i expect a good year from Henry...he got off to a strong start in 2005 before injuring the hammy.

Henry is way overrated. You guys vastly overpaid for the guy.

For some reason, I bet that you're not supposed to have that avatar on this site.
