This really sucks... we need his coverage skills against Burress and his tackling skills against the run - ESPECIALLY if it is going to be snowing and/or wet... Stopping the running game will be A MUST and Henry is crucial when it comes to the outside running game with Tiki Barber.

It doesn't look good, but I'll still be hoping... WE HAVE TO WIN THIS GAME!!!

Glenn has been playing well. I'd let Henry sit until he is fully healed. I think he tried to rush it and aggravated the injury. Although it might be a bit premature to plan for the playoffs, Henry needs to be completley healthy at that time.

Poor Glenn though, I felt bad for him when he got his bell semi-rung. When he went back in that showed a lot of heart.

At this point I'm hoping he is able to come back for the playoffs...hopefully a couple games before to get going again...his loss hurts bad!

We must move on though until he comes back...........

I didn't realize Henry is only 28 years old. He could be with us for a long time!

Yep. Not sure about the specifics of his contract but he signed on for 5 years.

I want Newman to follow Burress EVERYWHERE on Sunday.
I taped the Giants-Hawks game on Sunday and was just watching it yesterday... Man, Burress got Trufant pretty good in that game. I really wish we had Henry... I think I'm officially worried.

I think we need pretty much top games our of all of our players to win this game.

He is just a big, physical and agile CB that can cover big WRs very well (like TO and Burress). He also can get through blocks from the WRs... this is MUCH tougher for Glenn to do. I think Glenn is a VERY good CB, but his lack of size hurts against bigger WRs and against the outside run.

Henry is a major player in our defense and with Dat already gone, we need as many "players" on that field as possible. Our next 4 games are VERY tough and if we DON'T win at least 3 games, then we WILL NOT make the playoffs. I don't want to see Henry rushed into the game, but how long will it take to heal from this injury??? THIS is our playoffs RIGHT NOW because it will be a tough road from here on out.

We need Henry to cover Burress, but if he is not in there, then Newman has to cover him. Glenn will play the other side, while the risky Reeves plays in nickle formations. Our MLBs need to come through as well this week... another problem that I am worried about. They will have a tough task to clog up the middle on Tiki runs as well as cover the hated Shockey. I hope our LBs will be able to do this... with Henry being out we need our OLBs to make sure that the outside running game is controled, but ALSO need to put some REAL pressure on Eli Manning.

There seems to be a lot of things on defense that we need to do, but I think it is possible - Much easier of course if Henry was healthy and on the field. Our offense can basically play the way they've been playing, but it would be nice if we could establish a running game to take pressure off of Bledsoe AND our defense. I don't want to even talk about our kicker (no matter who it is), they just NEED to make the 45 and under yard FGs.

We lost 3 games mainly because of missing easy FGs and ruined a chance to go into OT against Oakland because of a missed FG... we could be 11-0 right now... or at the very WORST, 9-2 (@ Oak, @ Phi).

Anyways, that is how I see it...

This too is my biggest concern about this big game (not having Henry). Reeves has got enough experience to be a decent nickel corner now I would think (he started some games last year, didn't he? I know he played some nickel too at some point). I don't think the Cowboys do much of matching a CB specifically onto only one WR. But I would feel better having Newman cover Burress and Glenn cover Toomer when they're all out there together. With Henry I'm completely confident our secondary can match well against their WRs, but without him I admit I'm a litte afraid. We NEED a solid pash rush this game (hear that defensive line?)!

Yeah... I really hope that the Cowboys can win this one. A good pass rush and stopping the run are the MOST important things in this game for Dallas to win.

When the nickle defense comes onto the field, the HEALTHY, starting line-up would be Henry and Newman at the corners, with Glenn playing as the nickle CB... when Henry is injured then the lineup goes to Newman, Reeves at the corners, with Glenn moving into the nickle spot again. That leaves Reeves out there at CB - I am not confident about this... hopefully our 2 safteys, R Williams & Davis, can provide deep help for Reeves, but they can't just leave the deep middle ofm the field open as well. With Henry in there, this would help us TREMENDOUSLY.

Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem like Henry will be playing, so a close game means that we are doing a decent game on defense. Again, I HOPE THAT WE WILL WIN THIS GAME... it's a BIG game!!!

FWIW-what the Big Tuna HAS done this last offseason was just that-shore up the depth chart.

Remember last year-when Julius and some of the DB's were hurt, we didn't have a piss-pot back-up. This is probably why the Pats were so successful in recent years-Belichick made a back-up plan(much like Parcells is doing now).

Frankly-injuries may be detrimental-yeah, we hate'em, but there's nothing we can do about them. However-alot of teams fail 'cuz they don't try to prepare any kind of future like this. Look at the Iggles-without TO, they're nothing.
