Anthony Hitchens starter?

Machota did say 5-10 minutes ago, but seriously he went in for a bathroom break and came back.

Fisher didn't retweet that he came back another media guy - Machota did. Their is something there that suggests Fisher is trying to make a story there.

Any and all news died decades ago.
"Sports Journalism" was never high-brow stuff, but it truly fell off a cliff with the internet, social media and the race to shout out headlines without any true investigation as to what they're screaming is true or not.

I haven't watched ESPN or any equivalent of it's ilk in over ten years.
Nor will I.
I get enough drama fo' my mama on this site already.

As for Hitchens maybe being the starter?
I don't think it's going to be a great thing for the team.
McClain should be it and I don't like saying that either, but there is no other alternative.

I agree.

If you look at the timing of their tweets, Machota mentions at 11:25 am that "Rolando has returned".

Then, at 11:29 am, four minuets later, Fisher mentions that McClain left the practice field and throws in his "phone call, bathroom break, dog ate homework" smart *** comment. At that point, the real news was that McClain had already returned to practice and was only gone for a matter of a few minuets. Just the fact that Fisher neglected to report that Rolando had returned and instead was letting everyone know that the LB had left the field is telling. It certainly corroborates @xwalker and his take on Fisher. After this stunt, it looks pretty clear that Fisher has a bias towards McClain.

Or his attention to detail is lacking certain immediacy to it...and he has his head in the clouds some as well.

I wouldn't leave him to guard my flank...

I sure hope that Sean Lee has a firm bite on his ear...so that he doesn't really try to invent being a Dallas linebacker...

There is no doubt that Fisher has some issue with McClain. I listen to the Fan throughout the day and Fisher can't let go of the McClain issue.

Fisher is normally a just the facts type much more than most.

It goes to show that all media has some bias.

There might even be some bias from guys like Broaddus in some of the reports from training camp.

can't stand that the media is SO hyped to be the first to report things that they report things that they shouldn't report....(twitter sucks)....

Lol, now Mike "Backpocket Boy" Fisher is a media hater.

I wouldn't go that far, but why didn't he report that McClain returned to practice like Machota did?

And it's silly to just pile on and add Broaddus to that out of nowhere.

If he does start I don't think he will be on the field on passing downs. He had some good tackles of the two to three yard variety as opposed to the four to six yard ones. The big run by Moreno has been analyzed quite a bit and he should have been to the hole quicker but the DTs should have done a better job too, neither of them will likely be starting against the 49ers.

I know the line made it hard for the lbs, but I want imposed with McClain Saturday. I thought Hitchens had a better game.

starting middle linebacker starting week one?

If they are content to sticking w/ this 4-2-5 nickle they seem so stubborn to run...then ya....I can see it. who is better in coverage @ this point? Carter or Hitchens?

Wouldn't be shocked to see Hitchens and Carter rotate depending on down and distance. Carter on run downs...Hitchens vs the pass. Durant getting most of the snaps @ WLB.
