Don't be surprised to hear he's on the NFL exempt list after this latest issue. In fact, wouldn't surprise me if the Pats know/knew something was coming down the pipe.

No doubt. They were tipped off he’s going on the exempt list soon. Forget the lawsuit stuff, he flat out intimidated an accuser for all to see. That right there will likely do it all by itself. This story is just getting started. New England will likely refuse to pay him his bonus and when that happens, who knows what he will do or say. If New England did anything or had any contact with him or his agent before the Raiders released him, I wouldn’t expect him to keep that or anything else for that matter a secret. I think this whole AB 2019 storyline is very far from over. The league will have to do something to shut him up and make him go away.

so do the cowboys still employ Josh Brent? You know the guy who killed Jerry Brown drunk driving? You know the guy who who got busted for drunk driving just a short while ago? Pretty scummy, dont you think?
Another poster who loves to hate. Josh Brent is nothing like AB. He didn’t deliberately go out and kill some one. He was stupid but nothing like AB.

only responding to your continuous hate, glass houses and all that ... and yeah, josh brent, "maybe" the time of the accident wasn't deliberate, but the multiple times after 2009 he got popped for alcohol or drugs? but nah... we all know when we've had too much to drink... he chose to drive... a deliberate act... killed a teammate... try to justify it all you want... so Yeah, try and tell me Brent isn't the same kind of cat, just wearing different stripes... dont give a crap about anybody but themselves...

IF Goodell has 1 ounce of love of the game in his bones, then he would not allow this POS back into the league until all this nonsense is fully investigated and Brown proves he is past all his BS. DO NOT NEED HIM OR WANT HIM ON MY TEAM. He is all about "ME"
I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt about the first girl's rape accusations, given their history. But, he is clearly showing that he has character issues. What a slime ball.

By the way, does that not push the money he’s thrown away in the past few weeks to $40 million+?

No need to resort to name calling personal attacks. Grow up little boy.
don't like it? then don't do it. You continuously insult teams and by extension their fans ...So don't act like a whiny three year old if someone calls you out on your own hypocrisy

Lol there was literally no threat to her or her family. He just said look this chick is broke. Look at her and her family. How is that a threat?

The kid in KC is on audio actually threatening his baby momma and he got a big new contract and no suspension.

The Pats should have told him no social media posts ??
I also wonder if the media and their never ending quest , and zeal for dirty laundry, is what got him cut??
If Bill walked away from the PC, then shortly after they cut AB, it seems like Bill did not want to deal with the media and questions on AB.
He doesnt like PCs anyway.
he should just say no question about AB or you will be escorted out.
I think he will still be getting AB questions for a good while.

Well it doesnt matter when the media sees you as a big story, they will twist and distort it so it looks like a threat.
They love this stuff.
That is why in his situation, he should not have been on social media at all, anything he says can be twisted, quoted out of context etc.
That one post could have just cost him 5-9 million dollars !!!!
The media is a self serving evil, and they love people who say stupid stuff on it, I bet they have teams of people monitoring
certain people for anything they can use.

To Antonio Brown: Karma is a boomerang.

He jerked the Stealers and Raiders around and was ignorant and disgusting to many players and coaches. I see jail in his future. He will do something incredibly stupid and illegal sometime in the future.

Lol are you high? What does one have to do with the other

Responding to the assertion by many on this thread when that is subjective based on the txt messages. You have another player in the league with an actual threat on audio yet he’s good to go on Sunday and no one in the league has an issue with it. To me it’s just the league hypocrisy that I have a issue with.

I wonder how much the Pats are on the hook for?

Supposedly there was some clause in his contract that gives them an out on the guaranteeed money, Probably goes to an arbitrator. Might be close to nothing, might be $10 mil.

There is REALLY something wrong with him. I'm sure the Patriots released him because they knew a suspension was coming. I hope he gets the help he needs.
