The unsportsmanlike conduct and taunting penalties incurred by Braylon Edwards and Antonio Bryant (left) against the Colts were dumb. Just dumb. They're the last thing a young team playing on the road needs, and that's precisely the costly behavior Romeo Crennel will, over time, eradicate.
Both flags sabotaged Cleveland drives. In a seven-point game, the killer penalty, though, was the illegal block on Frisman Jackson that nullified Dennis Northcutt's 82-yard punt return touchdo
**************************

From a pro scout in Lenny P's morning after column.

"The Browns need to keep [veteran wide receiver] Antonio Bryant away from the kid, [first-round wideout] Braylon Edwards. Bryant has become a good player but he's still immature and he and Edwards both drew [taunting] flags Sunday that really hurt the offense. If Bryant ever grows up, he could be a good player, but he does [stupid] stuff, and you don't want it rubbing off on Edwards, believe me."

Yeah, we've really been hurting for Bryant on the team. :laugh2:

Crayton brings everything to the table Antonio does minus the bad attitude.

No he doesn't. He brings a much better attitude with about half the talent.
