A source close to the Bucs tells me AB is in Tampa Bay right now for a looksee.

Just thought I'd pass this along since news is scarce.

I really liked Bryant a lot. Too bad he couldn't keep his head on straight and succeed with us.

I think of all the draft picks we missed on in the past 5 or so years, he is the one that bothers me the most. I had real high hopes for him and really, really, liked him as a player.

Risk and baggage...those words jumps out whenever I hear AB's name being mentioned.

He's negotiating with them because his orange Lamborghini would look great in their parking lot.

To think...Parcells owes his biggest victory as a coach to Quincy hitting AB on a long pass during that MNF game at the Meadowlands.

AB was considered trouble in college. Jerrah decided to take a chance on him. OOOPPPPPSSSS.

that play against the Giants pretty much proves the blind squirrel theory.

Actually, the TD from Quincy to AB in 2002 at home to win the game against the Panthers had proved that already.

If Gruden thought Key was too much how in the world does he think he can handle AB?

And he did the same with Derek Ross that same draft. I understand taking a chance on a player every now and then. Sometimes you take that risk hoping for a big reward. You just can't make it a constant habit to take on those risks. You have to play it safe more times than that.

I think those were truly Jerrah picks. I doubt even lacewell wanted them.

Great. Time for the annual "Antonio Bryant Has Learned From His Mistakes and Is Changing His Ways" article.

You've got dibs since you threw the idea out first.

I meant the article that appears in the paper in whatever city he's playing that year that chronicles his troubles and then you get various quotes from AB saying stuff like "I've really learned a lot" and "all that is behind me now"

Every year of his career you see one of these articles.

Isn't it amazing the number of teams that are willing to make the same mistake we did?
