I would agree 100% on an extension.

However, TO is signed through the 08 season and wont be a free agent until 2009. So there is really no rush to get something done here.

to has a lot of knocks to me, but he's earned his way lately also. i could do without him thanking God for his latest bowel movement, but that's better than the alternative of the past, i suppose.

TO is special and he's trying. as long as he can produce at a high level, keep the year by year options going and keep him a cowboy.

TO has done everything asked of him. i'd go ahead and make him a priority if for no other reason than to pacify the ego.

don't make it a fight if losing will hurt. no need to fight this if you just treat TO like TO, not a WR.

I think if Jones told TO... "We will get yours done... lets just wait til midway through your 3rd season" - I think TO would just sit and wait.. Jerry has earned that from TO...

TO knows that Jerry will butter his popcorn... with the right amount of butter. Jerry is like Steinbrenner in that regard... paying for what he wants... for who is thinks is worth it
